Yes, that's possible. Her level in transmutation is not good enough to make it yet, but the limit of transmitation is the owner. If she knows the details of the process and know how to move the energy efficiently, she can do it in normal circumstances. However, broken gems have several collateral effects affecting them that vary from gem to gem. Her abilities can be affected because of it. This will be better explored after chapter 3.

Peridot's powers are Appraisal and Transmutation, the only way she can become stronger is exploring these powers in a creative way. Peridots aren't made for fight, they usually are the "smart guys", replacing their weak points with advanced technology.

Author here. This is my first attempt at writing, I'm open to constructive critics. I couldn't find a good and long fanfic about S.U, so I decided to create one.
