Thanks for the input! I will consider doing a poll in the future if I'm uncertain about something, but for now your words have made me quite confident with the current pacing. I guess it's a bit difficult to judge the pacing and perhaps other elements of the story from the author's perspective. Anyway, thank you for your constant support and have a nice day :)

I've thought about calories before (Drai ate a lot of meat back at home) but haven't considered it for further down the story. Thanks for the reminder! Although I don't think it will be noteworthy enough as a plot point, I might include it in passing or in the details. I'm a bit concerned about the pacing of the plot (I'm afraid it's too slow for some readers), so I might glance at the details regarding locations or even during conversations (I'll still try to make them sound rather realistic). What do you think? Is the pacing too slow for you?
