cool! but anyways, ive seen babies crying from animals before and based off it off that! like I said im just seventeen so not trying to quote Harvard. my thought process was, babies cry from animals, baby would feel fear and cry from a large animal growling and trying to kill it because a baby cannot comprehend whether it would hurt them or not. loud noises from the growling or barking from loud animals would alarm it, scare it. babies do feel afraid from loud noises.

sorry about that, all my sources from briefing over multiple websites have stated babies start feeling fear at about 6-12 months old, like crying and fearful expressions! ^^. Theia is in fact over half a year old, hence why it was safe to presume a regular baby could be frightful or distraught of large and unknown animals approaching them. i’m still only seventeen so i don’t really know much on babies;; relying on websites

Hey, I apologize if this isn’t your style, really, but unfortunately this part is relevant to the plot! i have tagged my novel as detailed as i like to go over things and not force a rushed plot, as setup and buildup is important to me. she will continue to be an infant until the hunt is over, at least, which is quite a few more chapters which i do hopefully plan on mass releasing once ive finished them with how my schedule’s been! as stated earlier, the introduction to the side characters now and understanding their motives/personality, even if barely scraping them, is all part of the build up for the plot later down the road. i enjoy giving my characters, even side characters, a bit more depth and the ability to be analyzed from multiple angles, such as Damon, who can either be considered terrible, or reedeemable depending on how you view the story. It’d be a little unfair, in my opinion, to try and throw in the qualities of his im writing out now later after he’s been “established” for multiple years during a timeskip! if that made sense. tldr; all in all, apologies if this isn’t the way your style is, but it’s going to continue for a few more chapters until the hunt ends, fast forwarding to when she’s a little older, around 5~. this is to give characters a bit of depth, and in order to build up to later plot. I understand if you don’t want to read anymore if it’s not your thing, and hopefully this response is what you needed to hear! sorry for any typos, i woke up a few minutes ago.

Hello! Author here. after about thirty chapters, here’ a few things. O1. this is not for the faint hearted. there does include violence, descriptive violence, and it is completely understandable if you do not wish to read that. this is a villainess novel. O2. the female lead is Theia, and the male lead does not actually appear for quite awhile, the beginning of the story focuses on her, the main character. the romance is also slowburn. O3. at the moment of this comment, Tuesday and Saturday will not have updates, these are days to work on my other socials and other projects, along with studies. O4. i started writing this at sixteen, and will continue on for awhile longer. please forgive my inexperience if you can see plotholes. O5. please consider giving me constructive feedback but not harsh criticism. there’s a difference, so rather than writing a comment about how something sucks, inform me politely about why you think it had potential but flopped! O6. my novel has a strong female lead that is a villain. her actions may not always be something that you agree with, same with some other leads. they are not exactly meant to be perfect, but rather flawed individuals. O7. there will be many cool beasts! if you enjoy reading about fantasy and many majestic beasts, consider giving this a read. the beast taming lore is spread out within the first thirty chapters, and afterwards contains more beasts she tames, including the people (beasts) around her.
