There are werebears later actually she gets acquainted but later you'll see there are vampires, weretigers, faerie, sirens, werefoxes, witches- though they are not werebeasts but have dark power similar to that of the wavelength the werebeasts special gifts originate from. Also unlike many other stories the Moon Goddess does reveal herself.

I'm going to shamelessly admit that I first came here because the font was so pretty. But I read it and I really love it so far. I was also really pleasantly surprised when the book jumped straight in, into the middle of the action every line became a quick pace of events that I could easily get swept up in : )
