I will preface this by saying I am currently 170 chapters in at the time of writing this review. Pros: -The MC has noticeable character growth and is not immediately flawless. -The game system is interesting, complex enough to make you think about how you would go about it if you were to play the game simple enough to not be confusing. -Side characters while not entirely fleshed out feel consequential, and are not extremely tropey. -Each arc feels purposeful -Time skips at appropriate moments, no boring pass the time chapters -MC isn't a horndog simp Cons: -Never a real sense of threat to MC so far. -Time skips do not adequately address how much time has passes. (I got occasionally confused on how much time was left until beta launch) -Everything seems to go easily go MC's way. (This might be changing soon if foreshadowing is to be believed) -There are spots where it feels like nothing happens at a place if the MC is not currently there.(minor nitpick) TLDR: Finally a good Game Novel where the MC isn't out for revenge or just trying to build a harem. Grammar is at native speaker level. Story has a good progression speed, and there are only minor complaints I have if I really nitpick.

feels like a knock off of monster paradise. MC is not very smart, and things kind of just happen with out any build up. There is very minor world building, but it doesn't make the world feel tangible at all.

story is great. the whole soul concept is great. characters feel like actual people. pacing is on the slower side, but that's what makes the world and characters feel more alive. would recommend 10/10

I mean can you blame her.

The Emperor has a very objective and apathetic view. It is wrong to ask whether his decisions are moral or immoral. it seems believes in survival of the fittest. The weak died simply because they did not have ability to do so and the strong who survived will get stronger from it. To deny the strong the opportunity the grow to protect the weak can be debated on both sides of which is better. We must consider that in our world there is no such thing as a person strong enough to be entire armies, but in this universe there individuals like the variant invalid that can cripple the populations of entire planets. so is really better to have a larger army filled with more middling talents or to sacrifice the weak in order to allow monumental talents to grow. Earth after is one step away from being the subjects and or slaves of other worlds, who is to say that another world with high potential won't invade later or when earth reaches the 5th dimension. Basically it's easy to say that he should have protected his people especially when the talents or Earth were suppressed, but times of crisis are where the ordinary are separated from the extraordinary.

it was probably his wife with mysterious a background manipulating things behind the scene to paint Leonel as a criminal. Also the shield cross stars already was looking for an excuse to get rid of him.
