This shameless author is just going to give herself a 5 star rating because why not hehe~ I love reading and writing cultivation bl novels and this book is actually pretty close to my heart since I have spent so much time developing the story. The MC used to be a boy with mediocre talent in cultivation but due to his willpower and effort, he became one of the greatest cultivators under the heavens. However, before he could enjoy the feeling of standing at the top, he tripped and fell down into the abyss where he died. Eight years later, he suddenly woke up inside the body of the demon king who had been one of the MC's enemies. Before he could figure out how this happened, he heard about his sword being given away as a reward for a murder case and immediately decided to retrieve his sword which contained a part of his soul. However, on the mission, he is reunited with another one of his enemies, Hua Tianshu, a man he had only met thrice in his life. Their past relationship wasn't something easy to understand. Sometimes people would think that they cared and looked up to one another while other times, they would think that the two hated one another to the bone The MC wanted to curse his luck for running into the man. He thought this Hua Tianshu would certainly get him in trouble, however, after a certain turn of events, Hua Tianshu recognizes his real identity, and the two end up working together to solve the case of the Yan sect's destruction. They get to spend more time together and the MC slowly starts to realize that Hua Tianshu was not as cold-hearted and selfish as he originally thought he was. As time passes, the misunderstandings of the past get cleared and the reality of the MC's death also starts to come out into the light. This story has a very heavy focus on plot but is also mixed with an ample amount of comedy, flirting, and romance. If you think it might be your cup of tea, don't shy away from reading it (;
