I have loved this book so far and all of its characters so much. Until these past couple of chapters. I liked Lotus's character until this whole fashion thing where she assumes he will dress badly. It's one thing if Karl dressing badly has been a trope in the book so far but it hasn't. This whole interaction feels forced and way out of left field. At this point I hope Lotus goes back to how she was previously when they were fighting out in the wilderness or that she gets crushed into meat paste by a monster. Can't stand that her right now. Plus it feels like she is trying to edge her way into Dana's territory and that is unacceptable. Dana is the Queen Bee and always will be.

If anyone ever touched my plate whether it is to put food on it or take food off they are loosing a hand so Lily is lucky Kyle doesn't seem to care because I know a lot of people that are like me and don't like people messing with or touching their food.

This woman annoys me so much. Just tragically kill her off already or have him outgrow the area he is in so he can leave her behind. She drags down the story.

You really need to give the two demon clans different names author, this is driving us crazy and it's impossible to tell them apart if they are both just called demon clan.

It's a good novel that is well written and the pacing is good. The only negative is the MC's character enrages me to a nonsensical point. She is super pushy and seems to do everything in her power to misunderstand what is happening to the MC or his words. Incredibly annoying.

She should be more careful when trying to scare people, some people will throw hands at the drop of a hat. Also does she not understand the concept of privacy? Entering her brother's room without permission is weird.
