The daredevils soundtrack? Wasn’t it the MC that did the score?
Well it does get earlier every year. I started seeing Christmas ads last year on November first sooo…
Man this kind of shit right here is why I love reading modern-day Chinese webnovels. Their takes on America and American families/culture in general are positively wild.
That’s just a translation gaffe. In China, their “middle school” is basically equivalent to our high school. It’s also where compulsory education ends and most MTL edits I’ve seen use high and middle school interchangeably.
Old Chinese authors didn’t have to worry about being oppressed by the state, but rather about the emperor or another official deciding to kill their entire families if they said or wrote the wrong thing. “Beheading nine generations”
Entertainment stars often don’t. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston/Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman/Katie Holmes, and so on. It’s primarily because entertainers rely on their names and changing them loses them fame and money.
Nah, don’t prompt gpt to do the writing for you. AI is terrible at writing coherent plots, but it’s fairly decent at translating. So whatever your native language is, write the chapters in that. Then prompt GPT to translate it into English, like this: “Translate the following text into English: (Paste the chapter you wrote here)” Then paste the English translation of your chapter into Inkstone. If you’re good with spoken English then have a text-to-speech program “read” the English version to you to catch any awkward phrasing or other writing gaffes before publishing the chapter. It isn’t nearly as good as a real, proper editor can polish your work to be, but it’s better than what you’ve got going on already. It’s also free, so there’s that.
I am Hollywood The richest actor in Hollywood Both of those are really good, except I am Hollywood was dropped. Still, almost 1200 chapters of a good Hollywood story is enough. Just don’t be surprised when it “ends”.
Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by some of the actually good Hollywood fanfics on WebNovel, but this is not good at all. The main character is a collection of all the worst tropes from Japanese light novel protagonists. He’s denser than lead, weak, pathetic, and passive. In every situation. Basically, he’s a doormat. Except, while doormats actually have a purpose, Luca does not. The rest of the cast is childish, immature, and exist solely to highlight how worthless Luca is. I regret having wasted so much time on this novel and will be doing my best to scrub the memory of its existence from my brain.
God he’s like the most annoying LN protagonist that ever existed. I’ll skip the model shit and see if he improves as an actor. If not, I’m out.
