Classroom!

Since it was the same lecturer who took us for the first semester French course, there was no need for introduction this second semester. The lecturer started by giving his course outline and we immediately dived into the chapter of the day. During the course of the lecture, Candy couldn't help notice someone staring at her so she decided to take a look. She saw Daniel looking at her instead of focusing on the lecture so she asked "why are you staring at me instead of the board?". Daniel replied with a straight face "you look so focused. I wonder if you even understand what the lecturer is teaching". Candy smiled while shaking her head and didn't respond but turned to face the board. The lecturer happened to witness them talking and was displeased so he immediately asked a question "Mademoiselle Candy, pourriez-vous nous aider avec la définition du verbe?" She turned, looked at Daniel angrily and replied "Un verbe est un mot qui indique une action physique (par exemple, « conduire »), une action mentale (par exemple, « penser ») ou un état d'être (par exemple, « exister »)." The lecturer told her to sit down and stop making noise. She apologized and focused on the lecture ignoring Daniel. Daniel didn't mind and also focused on the lecture. Towards the end of the class, he gave an assignment an left the class since we require a little bit of time to move to the venue of our next class.
