Chapter 10 New system feature

Andreas and everyone else arrived on the top flow conference room, the room was big in enough to accommodate more than 50 people, after everyone settled down.

Andreas sat at the main seat calmly his face was expressionless making everyone in the room to become solemn.

"Show me your reports" Andreas said facing Diana the company's vice president.

"Yes sir" said Diana handing in the documents she was carrying

Andreas didn't turn the pages of the documents and pondered silently for few seconds, then said.

"I know everyone here has work hard for you to reach your current positions, this shows your resilient and determination towards work and I would like each one of you to continue with the same spirit, are we together " Andreas said neither fast nor slow for everyone to understand his point.

" Yes Mr president " everyone replied in unison.

" Good, I will not check this document, I trust your judgement towards work " Andreas said as he pushed the bunch of documents to Diana.

" Thank you Mr president " said Diana in relief.

" What major problem are we facing right now " Andreas asked facing Diana and the others.

Suddenly a woman raised her hand getting everyones attention on her, she was wearing a black office suite, tight her into a bum and she also had an s-figure just like Diana. Her name was Maya Angelou the companies Chief financial officer.

"Yes maya" Andreas said as he rememberes most of the people with important positions.

" Investments" Maya said, she paused for few seconds then continue " we are lacking in investments, right now Amazon group can be considered to be on a dire struggle for survival due to lack of investments, hence many of the projects are on hold" said Maya as she remained standing looking at Andreas, she was outwardly calm but on the inside was filled with anxiety, if the company does not find the way to get some funds they might find themselves in the state of bankruptcy.

Everyone new that investments funds and a constant cash flow balance are one of the core values to keep a company running and also getting large projects.

"How much do we have now"

" 2 billion that is excluding the money we borrowed from the bank 200 million" Maya reported looking down preparing herself for what's to come.

Andreas looked at her while saying " if I give transfer to you 10 billion USD what's the percentage of projects that are going to be done before next month"

" What??." Maya realized that she had lost her composure, she thought that the boss will scold and question her about the funds, just like her everyone was stunned, who drops billions like their just thousands.

But how could they know that at this moment the system mission was triggered

Maya stood compost this time though she was also shocked by numerous figure.

"Boss I dare not give you the exact percentage rate, but I can guarantee you that Amazon group will pass it's trial stage and enter the market. Maya didn't promise anything more, after all this is business anything can happen, one has to leave himself a way out in certain situations.

Andreas nodded, if she said more it could have been nothing but a pretentious display.

"Alright, the vice president, coo, cfo should send me your plans after you're done or we can have a video conference when their is time." Andreas stood up and said ending the meeting.

Everyone stood up seeing the CEO standing up

"Right that person with good taste, where is she" Andreas asked

Everyone made way and looked at one particular person who was looking down after being called.

"President this is.." the vice president did not know what to say for her sectary earlier blunt words she knew that her sectary was bold with words.

"No need to say anymore ... come here"

Chelsea was nervous and was on verge of tears if she had known she couldn't be so bold. "I ,,I will go" She walked in front of Andreas while trembling then "president y,,,, you c. called for me"

Andreas was amused said " am not terrifying am I "

" Anyway..." Andreas paused for a second everyone in the meeting room was holding their they breath, while Chelsea close her eyes thinking that it was over for her and Dianah was also clutching her hands tightly.

"Due to your good taste, you will be promoted to be my personal secretary, am sure miss Diana would not mind right "

Huh.... Everyone was confused by the turn of events and didn't know how to react.

Everyone thought where 'the boss is going to give one a heart attack.'

"Yes, yes I have no problem" Diana displayed her polite smile while thinking "Boss if I refuse you, won't I be making you lose face.'

Even Chelsea was first stunned by the sudden promotion then blinked her eyes to look for assurance if if she heard wrong or correct.

"Well then...let's go" Andreas said leaving the conference room.
