Festive Surprises..

She wanted the movement to stop right now, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. She buried her face in Adrien's chest and, with a deep breath, she said, "Adrien, Adrien..." simultaneously. After a few minutes, Adrien finally listened to her. He looked at Ember, whose face was still buried in his chest, and asked, "What happened, Ember?" When Ember took her face out, it was all red, and her heartbeat was fast. Adrien realized he was embracing her too tightly, making it hard for her to stand back. He loosened the embrace and tried to make her sit back, but his hand slipped on the grass, causing them to fall. This time, not only were they above each other, but their lips were also dangerously close. Ember, feeling embarrassed, pulled herself back and stood, avoiding eye contact. After taking a few deep breaths and convincing herself it was just a mistake, she muttered, "It's just a mistake, not real," and looked at Adrien, who was still sitting on the ground. She offered her hand, and he took it, standing up, saying, "I think it's getting late. You can go back home."

Ember nodded, and they drove back home in silence. When they arrived, they bid each other good night and hurried back to their rooms. Closing her door fast, Ember immediately went to her bed, muttering, "Melon, take me home," and buried her face in her pillow. "How many times have I told myself to be more attentive and not do silly things when you are around him? Oh god, I did it again," she sighed and fell asleep.

It had been a whole month, and both of them were busy with their lives. After that sudden kiss incident, Adrien called Ember to his home to celebrate with him. Ember was quite excited because it was her first time celebrating Christmas Eve. Her family, being Muslim, didn't celebrate it traditionally, but Ember loved spending time with them. She didn't need a special occasion to celebrate; a holiday was enough for her.

Ember was thrilled about the upcoming celebration. She exclaimed, "I will go to sleep early so I can wake up early," and rushed back to her room. Upon turning back, she found Adrien sitting on her bed. "What are you doing?" Ember stopped when she saw her diary on the bed. Not wanting him to notice it, she hastily took a few steps, saying, "You gave me a shock." Adrien said, "Shock?" with a sad face. To cover her tracks, Ember said, "No shock... I mean, yes shock. What I mean is, I'm shocked by your sudden surprise, and I'm really happy that you're here." She picked up her diary, intending to hide it under the table, but Adrien knew about it. He asked, "What is it?" Ember, feeling flustered, tossed her diary into the trash bin, saying, "What is it?" while gesturing with her hands. Adrien chuckled and murmured, "So adorable." Ember, still confused, said, "What?" but Adrien suppressed it and said, "We are getting late." Ember replied, "Wait, I haven't even gotten ready. Can you tell me where we are going?". Adrien said, "You don't have to; I've prepared everything for you. As for where we are going, it's a surprise."

"No," Ember insisted, looking into Adrien's eyes. "I don't want you to buy every dress for me. What are you going to do with too many girls' clothes in your house? Stop buying them. I will wear what I have, so tell me where we are going, and I'll decide what to wear." Ember enjoyed it when he chose or bought dresses for her, but she didn't want him to spend too much money on her . Adrien understood and looked at her dull face. To lift his spirits, Ember said with a bright smile, "Tell me the place, and you can select clothes for me."

Adrien agreed and said, "Okay, we are going to my dad's new fashion show, themed for Christmas. The colors are red and white." Ember had the perfect dress for the occasion and exclaimed, "I have a dress to wear for this occasion." She rushed to the dressing room and changed into a red and white outfit. When she came out, she asked in excitement, "How is it?"

She wore red long pants with a fully covered white top and a red waist, her hair in a messy bun, and soft makeup with natural pink lips. Adrien was so stunned that he couldn't say anything. Ember called him many times, but he remained silent. Approaching him, she patted his shoulder, saying, "Adrien, we are not getting late, are we?" Adrien snapped out of his thoughts and replied, "Why are you so..." he paused, and Ember wondered what he was going to say. "So," she prompted, but Adrien said, "Okay, okay, we are getting late." They reached Adrien's room, and it was the second time Ember was in Adrien's room.
