Awkward Encounter.

"Let's go outside," Ember suggested, and they left the library together. As they strolled in the park nearby, Adrien noticed a change in Ember. She halted midway, leaning closer to him, and remarked, "Adrien, you?" Noticing the difference, she continued, "Hey, you are different from usual."

"What do you mean by different?" he asked, gently rubbing her head. Ember took hold of his hand, pointing at his ring. "Don't tell me you're dating someone, right?" she inquired, anticipation evident in her eyes.

Adrien blush when she lean closer to him, "Hey, keep your distance," Adrien said, stepping back, making Ember realize their proximity. She took a few steps back, apologizing, "Oh, sorry," while avoiding eye contact. Suddenly, Ember's brother called out to her, and she responded, "Hey, come here. Where did you go today?"

"Didn't I tell you? I went to play a football match," he replied, moving closer. "Oh, right," Ember said, recalling the conversation.

"Who is he, next to you?" Zen, Ember's brother, asked, casting a curious glance at Adrien. Ember, feeling a bit awkward, forced a smile and held Adrien's hand. "Actually, he is my college friend."

"Friends who are holding hands?" Zen inquired, causing Ember to immediately let go of Adrien's hand and pat her brother's shoulder. "When are you going back home? And stop thinking weird things about your sister," she scolded.

"Let me introduce myself to him. Hey, my name is Zen, Ember's brother," he said, extending his hand for a handshake. "Hello, I am Adrien, Ember's new friend," Adrien replied, shaking hands. The handshake lingered longer than expected, prompting Ember to intervene, "Zen, don't you think you should leave?"

"Oh, yes," he said, leaning closer to Adrien and whispering, "Don't you dare do anything with my sis, or I will make you pay." They exchanged a meaningful glance, both smiling, and Zen waved goodbye before leaving," good bye , sis I will meet you at home in an hour from now on.". Ember, get upset, exclaimed, "Hey, stop there, Zen. How can you talk to me like that? You're too bold, giving me orders!" He ignored her, walking away.

"Did you see that, Adrien? He always talks to me like this. It's seriously annoying," she vented, taking a seat on a nearby bench. "Hey, come sit," Ember offered Adrien a spot, but he chose to sit at the far end, a lingering effect of the earlier encounter. Silence enveloped them, the air heavy with unspoken words. Ember broke the awkwardness, asking, "When are you going back?"

"Actually, I was thinking I'll be back when I walk you to your home," Adrien replied, eyes fixed on the ground. Both sensed a shift in their dynamics, a departure from their usual interactions. They avoided eye contact and spoke sparingly. "I don't know why, but something doesn't feel right today," Ember confessed.

"I think you're right. Let's take a break and meet again some other time," Adrien suggested as they walked towards Ember's home. They bid each other goodbye, and Ember watched Adrien vanish into thin air, leaving her with a sense of unease and unanswered questions.
