"Beyond Borders: Love Across Time Zones"

It had been two years since I had met a boy older than me.

"Hey, my name is Ember, a girl in her sixteens, in high school. I am from the country India, in the city Bluelake. My city has two beautiful lakes."

One day, I received a call from another country. At that moment, I didn't bother to check where the number was coming from, so I picked up the call and said, "Hello! Who's there?" But there was no reply, just silence.

"If you don't talk back, I'm going to end this call!" I said in irritation. It had been too long with no response.

"I'm sorry, but may I know your name?" came a voice from the other side.

"My name is Ember, and who am I speaking to?" I replied.

"My name is Adrein, and I'm from Paris."

"Paris? That's so far from my home in India!"

"Wait, why did this call connect to India? I'm sorry; I was experimenting with my new gadget, and it called you."

"Experimenting with calling aliens?" I chuckled.

"Ah, you're right. I was trying to call an alien."

"Are you serious? You must be a mad scientist or something!" I laughed.

"Hey, don't say that!"

"Okay, okay! So why didn't you say anything at first?"

"Well, our languages are different, so I thought..."

"You thought I was an alien?"

"Yeah, it takes time to translate languages. You're speaking Hindi, and I'm speaking French, so it takes time."

"Ah, I see. I can speak English if you're more comfortable with that."

"That's great; I can understand and speak English."

"So, all your doubts are cleared that I'm not an alien?"

"Yeah, all doubts are cleared. You're definitely not an alien." he chuckle.

"Let's end it here; I have some work to do."

"Okay, bye Ember."

"Bye."

"Hey, wait!" he say.

"What?"I reply what is it now, do you have anything to discuss more… I think…

"Can I call you again? "he hesitates to say I can feel in his words.

"Let's talk some other day. Bye, Adrein. "I agreed to him...

"If you're okay with it... " he say without listening properly.

 when he take a pause then he clearly understands my words, "Alright, let's talk some other day. Bye." he say 

"Bye." ember reply.

And that's how our first conversation ended, all about aliens.

After that day, Adrein called me once a month, and after a year, he started calling me every week, building a good connection and I got a friend from other country...
