I am going to fulfill the promise I made to Cynthia

My heart stopped for a moment. I wanted to see what Cynthia had to say

“It’s true. You and I are supposed to be married soon. After your divorce to Jane,” she said without batting an eye. I couldn’t take it anymore and pushed the door open

“I see. This is your plan.” I said to the scared Cynthia. The expression on her face said it all.

“You could not help and take my man away the moment you get a chance.” If looks could kill, Cynthia would’ve died

“Wha... at are you doing here?” she asked, panicked

“How dare you hit on my husband lying to him just because he has lost his memory?” I asked in anger

“Cynthia. I have never done anything wrong to you. I don’t know much about your history with my husband, but please leave us alone.” I said, slowing to her

“Leave Cynthia out of this. Mum says you forced yourself in my life.” James started, “I hate women that force a man to be with them.” He said, looking at me in disgust
