chp 29: why do you hate me?

"Noooo, Mike is useless boss, how about you ask Laura to help me?"

"She can't.  She is already busier than you. She will also be coming to country M in a few days. Oh, i just remembered there might be huge orders coming from country M. Be ready. "

"What more orders from country M? Boss, i m already dying under the tons of orders that we have received from  country M recently, and now even more are coming?My beautiful boss, my rich boss, what are you even doing there? How come lots of people have become your fans in such a short time? " Bella ignored nina's dramatic effect and thought

'Huh, so they have already received orders from country M? Well, that will be good for the upcoming launch.'

"Fine, deal with it this time, and i will give you a bonus and some holidays."

"Really???thank you daisy thank you. I will make sure that country M becomes our permanent customer. " With that, she hung up.

Bella smiled and shook her head at the weird tactics of her friend. Bella howell was Daisy, the renowed  designer who had emerged 2 years ago and was now the owner of a large corporation known as Daisy's world. But the world didn't know any of it. Her designing inspiration also came from Lily.

Once, bella had seen lily embroidering some kind of a symbol on an apparel. She got interested and sat beside her to watch her complete her work.

"Oh, bella, when did you come? I was so engrossed in my business that i totally forgot about my surroundings. " she quickly tried to hide the scarf.

"I love it. What is that symbol?"

"Oh, this is my family's sigil." she opened the apparel and touched it longingly.

"Sigil? It sounds so royal." Bellas eyes shone with interest. Seeing this, Lily smiled lovingly.

"Can i touch it?" She asked hesitantly, bt her eyes were still shining.

"Here, Daisy, you can have it,"

"Really???" Bella asked excitedly.

"Yes, but never ever show it to anybody. You have to promise." Lily insisted.

"I promise." Then she took the scarf and wrapped it around her neck."So pretty," then she leaned towards Lily and gave her a big kiss

Lily was shocked, and then her eyes watered up. She hugged bella tightly. After that day, bella started learning embroidery from Lily. Lily was surprised by bellas talent and praised her multiple times. That's how it became bellas passion. After years, this passion also became her dream, her saviour, and her identity.

Bella went home really late that night as she had been looking into the hacking incident. So when she came home, the old master was already asleep. Bella silently went to james's room, and the room was empty. She heaved a sigh of relief and went to shower. After coming out, she was drying her hair when james entered the room. "You are back. How was your day?" James asked

"It was ok," she replied and saw james was already in his pjs. That means he was already home when she came.

"What happened?" James frowned

"Mmm?" Bella asked confusedly when she saw james looking at her hand and her messy bandaging.

"Oh nothing, it just reopened," she averted, her eyes trying to hide the truth.

James shook his head and went out. After some time, he came in with a first aid box. He grabbed bellas hand, pulled her to the bed, and sat down. He started to bandage her hand.

"Be more careful, will you?" He sounded frustrated and angry. Bella didn't know how to respond. So she went silent but after some time she found the silence uncomfortable so she asked: "How is grandfather now?"

James, who was fully focused on his task, stopped then continued, "He is feeling much better." And there was silence again.

Bella could hear her heart thumping wildly and felt extremely uncomfortable, but james was taking his sweet time. Bella couldn't take it anymore. "I'll do it myself." she jumped up from the bed and tried to pull her hand out of his hand when he pulled her towards him, and she fell right on his lap.

Bella couldn't believe what had just happened. She was shocked out of her wits. She jumped again to get up, but this time james was ready and grabbed her waist, forcing her to keep sitting in that position. They were really close now.

"Why do you hate me so much?" James asked in a low voice when bella shouted,"Let go of me."
