"Fuck I did it!" Ryan said, pumping his hands in the air as he barged out of Nathaniel's office and into the dining room.

"Hmmmm, two days," Nathaniel said as he smiled at the younger man. "Not bad, most would take over a week."

Ryan smiled proudly as he sat down and grabbed a slice of bacon, quickly devouring it.

"Haven't had a proper meal in days," Ryan told everyone nonchalantly as he grabbed a piece of toast and Alyssa appeared with a plate.

"Thank you, Alyssa," Maya said as she glared at her brother. "But I'm fairly certain that Ryan is capable of getting his own plate."

"It's my job, madam," Alyssa said with a smile as she disappeared back into the kitchen.

Maya had been trying to get Alyssa to take more time off and to lessen her workload. Nathaniel repeatedly reminded her that it was Alyssa's job and that the woman actually liked doing the household chores.

"So, what did you find?" Nathaniel asked as he too ate.
