They were at a different restaurant, but the arrangement seemed to be the same. A private room in a restaurant where everything seemed suspiciously ordinary.
The owner was probably another former DLR Enterprises employee who hated the De La Rues with a passion, and the other patrons, people placed there by the leaders of the syndicate to ensure that no one would learn of their meeting.
When Nathaniel entered the room, he was surprised to be pleasantly greeted by all the leaders. They seemed to be relieved that he was there.
Nathaniel turned to Frank and raised an eyebrow.
There was something the other man wasn't telling him.
"We actually thought there was a possibility you wouldn't show up," Frank confessed to Nathaniel.
"Oh, why?" it was Nathaniel's turn to be surprised. He didn't think that he had shown any inclinations of backing out from the Syndicate and working for them.
