Escape

"Okay, okay, good," Maya said nodding as Adeline got up and dusted her pants. "Is there anything you need to bring?"

Clarisse nodded. "Upstairs, I have a suitcase that's always packed."

"Go get it," Maya told her as she released the older woman.

She then turned to Katlin, "Make sure we have a way out, it's best if that real estate agent didn't see Clarisse leaving, but I know things don't always go as planned."

"I'll work on it," Katlin said with a nod. "I'll send Emilia in my place, added protection. That woman doesn't seem like it, but she sure as hell can kick my ass."

Maya laughed as she sent Katlin away.

"Let's look around for clues, for things Nate can use against Jonathan," Maya told Adeline.

"I'll take the living room, you can check the office over there," Adeline said, "My bet is on the office by the way."
