Chapter 49 :Wedding bells

THIRD POV～

 Placing the bowl of fruits close to her sister Serene looks at Camilla who is half lying half sitting on the hospital bed.

 She had woken up earlier that day and everybody was glad she did as they even shed tears of happiness.

 Throughout the days she spent in the hospital Giovanni was always here making sure she is alright and that there is nothing wrong with her,he had cried and held her hand saying how he regrets not talking to her and being angry.

 He prayed that if she just wakes up then he would waste no time in spending all the time he can with her.

 ''How are you feeling''Serene asks Camilla who is staring at her with a reassuring smile on her lips.

 Even in a hospital gown she still looks beautiful,Camilla stretches out her hand and graps Serene's hand knowing her sister is blaming herself for all that happened.

 ''I am ok Rene,you don't have to blame yourself for this''Camilla says and looks into Serene's eyes''I'll take a bullet for you sister if I have to''Camilla tells Serene whose eyes instantly widen and tears starts appearing in her eyes,her grip on Camilla's hand tightens as she tries to control her emotions.

 ''I am so sorry Camilla''Serene says looking at Camilla who just shakes her head''Never do something like this again Camilla please'' Serene pleads and Camilla laughs nodding her head though Serene knows she might do it again.

 They start talking to each other the sisters laughing and teasing each other when Camilla's smile suddenly changes.

 ''Have you found who tried to kill you''Camilla asks and Serene's jaw immediately clenches and she glares at the wall in the room before a sinister look flashes through her eyes.

 ''The person who tried to kill me dear sister is'' Serene says the wicked grin still on her face.

 LORENZO'S HOUSE

 A knock sounds on the door and Lorenzo just lies stiffly on his bed the room dimly lit if not for the little streams of sunlight peaking through the curtains that makes one know it is day time.

 The person knocks on the door again and after getting no reply the door opens to reveal Mariano who has a grim look on his face.

 Mariano still does not understand why his older brother chooses to g ahead with this wedding when he can just tell his grandfather he isn't interested he did not see anyone who can force LORENZO DE ANGELO to get married.

 ''Enzo''Mariano calls out and starts walking only to stop when he sees the bottles of alcohol around the room,sighing he moves towards the light and turns it on.

 Lorenzo groans and turns the other way, wearing nothing put a pair of sweatpants his body on full display.

 ''It's your wedding day brother-''Mariano says and looks at his watch''-We are going to be light,and Gio won't be attending as he will be with Camilla''Mariano tells Lorenzo and Lorenzo finally turns to face him his eyes bloodshot.

 ''Hmm I'll be down soon''Lorenzo tells his brother who looks at him worried,Mariano steps closer to him only to halt in his steps when Lorenzo raises his hand and gestures for him not to come forward.

 Standing up from the bed he starts making his way towards the bathroom.

 ''Enzo''Mariano calls out and Lorenzo stops in his steps without turning.

 ''Why don't you stop the wedding brother'' Mariano asks turning to look at Lorenzo who has his back to him,A dark emotionless chuckle escapes Lorenzo's lips and he turns to look at Mariano in the eyes.

 ''If the one I crave and love so much can bare to watch me get married to another woman, I don't see the need to remain unmarried brother''Lorenzo says before entering the bathroom kicking some bottles on his way.

 SHELLY'S DRESSING ROOM

 ''Do it better you bitch''Shelly tells the makeup artist glaring at the woman she looks at herself in the mirror.

 Today her dream is finally coming true and she has to look flawless and beautiful for Lorenzo.

 ''Chill shel,it's your wedding''Her friends tell her and she puts on a smile on her lips.

 ''I know and no bitch can ruin today''She says arrogantly her words carrying two meanings.
