The Kiss is Sweet

After making that statement, Gu Xiao Xiao went inside the car and closed the door. Chu Xiao Xi stood by the side and watched Mu Yun Fan's flustered look and sarcastically laughed.

"You better remember Gu Xiao Xiao's words and don't find so many strange excuses just to see her. Also, go back and tell Jin Jing that once I get the time, I will find her and get her to pay for everything she's done!"

Mu Yun Fan looked over to Chu Xiao Xi and slightly frowned. Gu Xiao Xiao doesn't know much about cars but he does. If he remembered correctly, this wasn't the car Chu Xiao Xi drove last time.

"Oh, right." Chu Xiao Xi had already sat into the car but then she suddenly opened the car door again. She stuck out her head and said to Mu Yun Fan, "I forgot to tell you something. Gu Xiao Xiao already has a boyfriend. When the opportunity arises, I will introduce him to you and Jin Jing."

Chu Xiao Xi's car left Mu Yun Fan's view very quickly, but he didn't move an inch for a long time.

After Gu Xiao Xiao returned home, she began to pack. Because she had no plans to stay home long, she only packed a few shirts and two books.

Chu Xiao Xi realized that lately, Gu Xiao Xiao has been enjoying sitting by the window and looking downstairs in a daze. It wasn't certain what she was thinking about.

After walking to Gu Xiao Xiao with light steps, Chu Xiao Xi asked in a whisper.

"Gu Xiao Xiao, what's there to look at downstairs? Is my brother down there?"

"I'm not looking for him!" Gu Xiao Xiao quickly denied. However, her heart unstoppably thumped because she truly was thinking about Chu Yi Chen.

"Alright, alright. I know you two are still hot from your marriage and separating hurts you. But a little separation brings a new married couple closer together. Don't worry, after you return, I promise you he will treat you better than before!"

Chu Xiao Xi loved making fun of Gu Xiao Xiao. Every time Gu Xiao Xiao gets red in the ears and cannot find any words to rebuttal her, she thinks of Gu Xiao Xiao as happiness given to her by the heavens.

Chu Yi Chen returned pretty late today. Only when the clock struck 9:30 pm did he come back.

The living room light was on and the TV was on. Chu Yi Chen glanced around and found Gu Xiao Xiao's silhouette on the couch.

She was wrapped inside her warm clothes and was tightly hugging onto a pillow. She was leaning against the couch and it seemed as if she had fallen asleep some time ago.

The heat was on so the room temperature wasn't cold. Chu Yi Chen gently touched her red and silky cheek, and his cold eyes regained some warmth.

Perhaps she felt the coldness brought over by Chu Yi Chen, Gu Xiao Xiao woke up from her dream. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw Chu Yi Chen's handsome face near hers.

After a temporary pause, Gu Xiao Xiao hugged her pillow tighter and covered half of her face. She revealed eyes and stared at Chu Yi Chen.

"I didn't cook dinner. You've eaten already right?" She asked Chu Yi Chen in a soft voice but Chu Yi Chen answered crisply.

"I haven't eaten." Chu Yi Chen extended his arms and hugged her to his side. He slid onto the couch, lowered his head, and locked lips with Gu Xiao Xiao.

The kiss sealed, and Gu Xiao Xiao could not make a single sound. She widened her eyes, not only because of Chu Yi Chen's sudden kiss but also because his kiss was sweet.
