"Chu Xiao Xi, was that really your brother? How come I have never seen him before?" Li Yi Ran was looking at Chu Xiao Xi with light in her eye as she questioned why this was the first time she's met her brother when they've been roommates for three years.

"He has been living internationally. Only recently did he move back to settle down. Li Yi Ran, you already have a boyfriend, don't even think about it," Chu Xiao Xi teased as she shot Li Yi Ran a grin.

Gu Xiao Xiao and Mu Yun Fan were somewhat famous in University B. The boy was smart and the girl was beautiful, they were seen as a destined couple by a lot of people. The breakup was basically unknown to everyone. So for Mu Yun Fan and Jin Jing to be together now was a piece of news that nobody knew about.

Gu Xiao Xiao stood in the corner and watched them in silence. She stared at the man, who had once taken care of her so gently and did everything she had asked, kiss another woman. A part of her heart was aching faintly.

There was a time when he said to her, Gu Xiao Xiao, I like you. Gu Xiao Xiao, let me take care of you in the future.

The first time they held hands, the first time they kissed… Gu Xiao Xiao reminisced about their past. Suddenly, all her memories seemed unreal.

"So you don't know about that!" Chu Xiao Xi walked up and put her arm around Gu Xiao Xiao's neck. Then she said in a low voice, "I heard the security grandpa wants you to be his granddaughter-in-law. Very soon you will be able to meet his handsome grandson!"
