CHAPTER FOUR

LEAH'S POV

Browsing through the photos for the umpteen time. They all look great. Absolutely perfect. I hope the Mr. Daniels Junior appreciate these photos.

Arriving too early for an appointments isn't always good. it's nerve wrecking, waiting to be called to meet the' Mr Daniels. We would have to locate Mr. Grey, my only stumbling block.

Finding the mysterious Mr. Logan Grey. Darn he would need to sign release papers for us to use the photos. Would he demand big money? It's not my fault, he deceived me, I genuinely thought he was a model and he did pose for them. Darn him! I could sue him for impersonating someone else and lying. Yes that's my case right there!

"Ms. Scott?" A beautiful red head stood in front of me obviously annoyed by the way she looked at me means I'm the cause.

"Uh huh.." I quickly stood up. "Yes!" I answered more professionally.

Mr. Daniels will see you now.

Smoothing my navy blue skirt and jacket with a sky blue inner top, I picked up my folders for the meeting with the boss himself.

"Okay" I said softly, so that I won't irritated her more.

Turning she walked briskly with her long legs, while I half ran behind her with my much shorter legs. Which is why I'm a photographer and not a model.

She stopped in front of a dark tinted glass door, knocked once, before pushing open the door, holding it until I walked in.

Realizing she was not remaining, I turned, "Thank you" I said, but she totally ignored me. Bitch!

Chuckling, "she only hears when it suits her" I heard Mrs. Daniels say.

With a small smile I turned to her, wondering if I should walk forward to greet her or not, so I just stood in front of the table.

"Good day, Mrs. Daniels" I greeted her as I looked at the two other occupants in the room. My smile faded instantly when I saw, the mysterious Mr. Logan Grey, with a twinkle in his eyes and a smug smile sitting opposite Mrs. Daniels.

Is this a joke? Turning my eyes to the third occupant in the room sitting next to Mrs. Daniels at the head of the table.

Trying to compose myself, I stood focusing my attention on Mrs. Daniels.

"Are you okay dear?" Mrs. Daniels asked observing my change. "Please have a seat" she continues, coming closer to where I stood, pulling me in for a hug. Looking over her shoulders I notice Mr. Grey's eyes on me.

"I'm good thanks" I replied politely. "Is your son here yet or are you having the meeting without him. I could leave the file with you" I rambled.

"Oh, come, come," she ushers me closer into the small room.

"This is my husband, Ralph Daniels she said, as I reached across the table to shake his hand.

Chuckling, " it's a pleasure Ms. Scott! I can see now why our receptionist was so unfriendly towards you! You are extremely beautiful, in fact you should be in front the camera, not behind it" Mr. Daniels complemented me, to the amusement if his wife, causing me to burn up. "Accept my apology" he finishes, releasing my hand.

"It's okay, I'm still standing, see" i said slightly waving my hands.

"And this is our son, Logan Daniels" he said proudly.

He reaches across the table to shake my hand as I reached him halfway, getting a firm grip with a tight smile.

"It's a pleasure Ms, Scott!" he says softly. He wants to play that game huh?

Giving him a cool smile, "same here, Mr. Grey" I say seeing a flicker in his eyes. "Sorry, Mr. Daniels. It's uncanny how you look do much like a model I worked with" I said, only to see his famous sexy smirk appear.

How do I explain the photos to his parents. I'm the photographer, it's my call. Releasing his hand. I turned to his mother.

"Mrs. Daniels, I.."

"Mom, dad, board six!" Logan interrupted me, only to see his parents quickly standing up.

"We have another meeting so Logan will take care of you. We support all his decisions" Mr. Daniels said.

They both shook my hand before leaving, "take her out to lunch Logan" his parents instructed, chuckling as they left, shutting the door behind them.

"Mr. Grey.. Mr. Daniels..' I started.

"Logan, please" he interrupted me.

Disliked being played, "I'm a professional who needs to prove myself. You playing games with me is unacceptable" I said sternly.

Eying me intently, "noted" he said softly "and I am truly sorry about the mix up" he smiles.

"May I?" he extends his hands for the the folders. "We'll rescheduled with another model" he suggests.

"No" I said firmly.

Chuckling, he sits back in his chair inspecting each photo thoroughly.

"You're good" he says, still scrutinizing them.

"So are you" I responded.

Nodding, he smiled, "It's a pity they won't see the light of day" he said, wistfully.

Smiling, knowing these photos are a seller. "no need to be sad, it's perfect, it's your campaign" I said. "They will definitely be seeing the light of day and the light of night!" I promised, without batting an eye lid. I stood up and slowly paced in front of him.

Stunned he puts the photos down, his sexy eyes following my pacing, as I continued, "your mother will not approve of the way you played with the job of a struggling young photographer right?" I paused for emphasis, "I mean I'm just a poor girl raising my two younger siblings, who by the way are still in school." I said with a coy smile. "I mean if the media gets hold of this.. hmm.. there goes your campaign" I smile sweetly.

Clearly observing my features, "you would do that?" he asks surprisingly calm.

Frowning, I expected him to freak out and threaten me or better yet, call security to throw me out.
