Yandere Nine Heavens

Name is pretty self explanatory, but basically the story is about a guy travelling the Nine Heavens and yanderes. It's actually more intricate that it sounds, but feel free to make your own judgement. For Mo An, imagine esdeath-esque For Mo Huilan, imagine Jasmin Rantin from Yandere Therapy with electric blue eyes as well

Inside the prison

"Is this it?"

Rain stood in front of Heaven's Asylum. Beside him stood the creepy foursome that Rain couldn't be bothered to learn the names of and in front of him, a looming entrance stood. It was simply an open archway, carved into the smooth stone pillar that led into darkness.

There were several of such pillars, scattered around the pillar. Each one had a ticket booth that would stand in front of it, a self-made business from the original people who settled around the prison.

The guards, especially in a place as weak as the 1st Heaven, didn't care if anybody entered the prison. There was no feasible harm to be done, and nobody had ever tried, so the only people who cared if you went into the prison were the people making money from it.

There were guards, but they occupied the upper parts. Realistically, one was allowed to wander the bottom most level as much as they wanted. There was nobody down there that could be freed. The prison's main purpose was much higher up, where security was locked up tight.

There were designated paths as well, should you want to go a bit higher, but the Second Heaven and above were off limits. It was a rule to not ascend through anything but your own efforts. Rarely were these rules breached, and exceptions were not known to be made.

However, for clarification, it was possible ascend and descend heavens through the prison. Without consequences. This was the only widely known method and Rain was sure that, in the prison's beginning, people had swarmed this place hoping to do so. Then they met the warden.

What happened next does not need to be clarified, right?

Most people just came to see the majesty of a structure that could traverse heavens when they wanted to visit the prison, but nobody in this group had this idea.

Rain included.

Without bothering to answer the question posed by Wide, also known as the wide eyed man, Rain moved forward, immersing himself in the darkness. His name wasn't actually Wide, Rain just didn't care about his name.

Rain strolled, immediately losing his tail... or he would have if they weren't tracking him beforehand.

Rain naturally had much better navigation in the darkness. In fact, this darkness was actually very comfortable for him. It felt like he was closer to something, though Rain didn't know what.

Rain walked forward, immediately heading towards a stairway. He didn't care about exploring, he just wanted to reach the limit and then sneak past it.

As Rain walked, he paid attention to his surroundings. Past the darkness, occasionally torches would be lit, illuminating his surroundings. Much like the outside, the inside was not luxurious. It was just stone upon stone.

Behind Rain, Wide and his crew slinked. Their goal was to keep him from the upper left of the prison. They were happy when Rain had been fine with going to right side to enter, but Rain didn't seem content with staying in the lower levels, making them uneasy.

However, he wasn't heading left at least, and solely seemed to be focused on heading up.

Rain and Wide also noticed something else. A distinct lack of guards. Both had expected more, but there were very few roaming the halls. The few they did see, did not seem to be in their right mind, as they walked weirdly, clutching their stomachs a bit like they were going to throw up.

This made Wide worried in particular. He ignored the strange behavior and focused on the numbers. Why were there so few?

'Did they catch on? Are they waiting for them at the upper half?'

He didn't know, and he was too close Rain to start trying to report his observations. He could only hope that their plans weren't ruined.

Rain stopped. He cocked his head slightly, as if noticing something, then walked to the side, where a particularly dense row of darkness awaited him. Wide hurried after him, suspecting something, but he was too late.

Rain... was gone. Vanished into the darkness.

To be honest, Rain just didn't like his travel companions and was planning on doing something illegal anyways, so he decided to ditch when he saw they could keep up with him. As long as Rain could find darkness, his stealth became something that people as weak as Wide could not hope to detect.

Wide however, took this as confirmation of his worst fears being realized. Rain had slunk off to help the guards deal with the infiltration team. It didn't help that Rain had decided to go to the left side to try to lose them as well. Not hesitating, he took the communication treasure out.

"They know. Do it now!"

Not a second after these words were spoken, an explosion echoed.

The explosion wasn't at the bottom of the prison. It sounded from the very edge of the left side of the prison, at the edge of the First Heaven, bordering the Second.

Going to that hole, one could clearly pick out two things.

One, emanating from the center of the explosion, various body parts could be seen strewn about. It would seem, that a lot of people had died.

Two, leading outside, a small army of people with slightly wider than normal smiles stood. The hole had barely entered the mystical 2nd Heaven, opening a hole for others to enter through.

"For Chaos!"

A slew of laughter echoed, resounding like a maniacal battle cry, as a battle began and Heaven's Asylum, for the first time in who knows how long, was invaded.

You can kinda see where this is going, but also not.

Suffice to say, I'm not an author who makes people wait 1000 chapters to travel a single Heaven.

Just for the record, the goal is this:

One of my 3 stories will be updated once a day. So expect an update on at least one story a day. Maybe more and I'll try not to make it less. We'll see. This month, at least, we should be good on that front.
