Anxiety

the two head downstairs where they meet up with haru.

"Heyy haru how's it going?" asked akio. "bro we just saw each other like 3 minutes ago" replied haru. akio recommended going to the office's welcoming ceremony which is gonna happen tonight. "yeah sure..." stopped haru. "what?" asked akio. "...but is it just us?" asked haru. "haha you thought. no not just us I got some woman to come don't worry" said akio.

that night.

"oh" "my" "god" said the three in order. "you guys go grab the drinks I wanna talk to some people" said akira. akio said "alright" but was keeping a watch on her from afar.

"where's the woman you said would come?" asked haru. "haha nice joke im dying" replied akio sarcastically. the two head over to the drinks bar and start conversing, but akio was troubled of the fact that he couldn't find akira. he didn't want to let haru know about her illness so he decided to keep mum on that topic. and one thing for sure is that haru hates supernatural phenomenons...so reapers are a big no no.

the tension got to akio because the party is in top of a giant building's rooftop. "I'll be right back" said akio to haru. akio gets up and walks to the direction that akira walked off to.

but...

she wasn't there and the fact that disturbed him was that there was no gate stopping a person from jumping down. just a 4 feet wall. akio runs over to the wall to check down and he saw a crowd forming.

"no way there's no way" akio says to himself as he turns to run back down.
