Dream actualization
My name na Innocent, when I dey ten years I get many dreams about my life,when dem dey ask me wetin I wan be when I grow up I dey always dey tell dem say na " big man", but whona know how life be na,nor be everything wey we talk na we dey get, some of dem happen while some nor go ever happen. After I finished my primary school for Isorere primary school myma quick put me for secondary school cause we be only two children wey she get, she say we must go school,my elder brother John dey very brilliant,that guy know book well well,he nor stress at all, from Junior secondary school reach university na scholarship na him take go school.
By the time I dey Jss2 John don go abroad for him Masters,him carry first class so him university send am go abroad, nor be small happy myma happy the day John con tell her say dem dey send am go abroad,I feel jealous sha but I nor vex nor be everybody head dey school.
As John don go abroad myma nor give me space again, any small thing you nor wan be like John,John this, John that .
One day I con vex tell her say make she Kuku change my name to John maybe I go know book den...Na so I vex comot for house, two days I nor near house, I dey my former class mate Akpos house, the boy nor be small boy at all, I chop life for that two days I con swear say I nor go go school again, Akpos comot for school since Jss 1 now I dey SS1 I nor get money reach the boy.
I con dey ask Akpos all the time make he show me way He nor gree,He like make everybody dey call am boss.... After two days with Akpos my mindset change,all wetin I dey reason na how I wan take make this kind money...
The next day na better knock wake us up, ah myma, who tell her say I dey here, I know say eh no pass mama Aboy she like aproko well well, the other day she see me and Akpos con dey tell me say myma dey find me ....mama wetin you dey do here na! Akpos and him guys don dey laugh me ....Innocent, Innocent, Innocent how many times I call you? Make we dey go house, I nor want any embarrassment I just follow her cause I know wetin mama John fit do.... until we reach house we nor talk
As we just reach house she say John dey call since I comot house,say she wan call am, for my mind I say the good son...she con call John for Whatsapp call cause international call nor be here, he nor tay he con pick, when he pick he con dey beg me say make I nor kill our ma for am, say he still get plans for her...ahh bros which kind talk be that na, na so I answeram ,he con say he don say heown finish and by the way how my school, I tell am say I nor wan go again...na so myma shout "God forbid" cause I never tell her before.
John con talk to me for long, since I know am na the first time me and him dey talk for that long, he advice me say make I finish my senior secondary school first so I go learn work since I nor wan go school, I con like the advice cause he say he go dey send me 40k for every month make I take dey soft cause he nor wan make I join bad gang, I con tell am thank you reach three times,as I turn na myma eye I just see, she dey look me like say if she get the power to change my brain she go do am...Me nor Kuku care, 40k every month until I finish secondary school na blast, happiness wan finish me that day!
The 40k nor stop any month but myma nor gree give me the whole money she say I must go school,so each time John send the money na 20k she dey give me say the remaining one na for my university school fees,I nor Kuku bother the 20k reach me form big boy, not until one new boy when dem dey call Peter con join our school for SS3, he tall fine...if you see him skin your jaw go drop,he fresh die. The guy dey spend money die during break..All the girls for school wan date am and all the guys wan be like am.
Na so I con go make friends with am oh, I nor wan dull, I tell am my name he con laugh, say I be fool oh who dey still dey do introduction for this country, say he don already know my name since he enter the school,I shock at the same time I nor shock cause before he enter I be dey reign,I dey buy things for people dey form big boy, so everybody con become my friend even though nothing dey my head.
Me and Peter con become very close ehn we con dey do things together, people con even dey think say we know each other before but that one nor concern me na how he take dey get him money be my own.
One afternoon after class Peter con tell me say he get urgent work say he need to go now, at of curiosity I con ask am which kind work he dey do, he con laugh say him na Yahoo keke, I con dey laugh,I con ask am which one be Yahoo keke, he con tell me say tomorrow when he come school he go tell me!
Na so body sweet me that day I say I don see wetin I wan do with my life say this money when Peter dey spend so say I wan get am....As I reach house that afternoon na so I tell myma say I don know the work when I wan do after my final exams, say na Yahoo keke...na so mama John start to shout Jesus, Jesus, holy ghost fire!
