Chapter 8: White Light 4

Akuto pulls the trigger.

"Piu!"

A subtle shooting sound can be heard from the gun. Two needles shoot out from the gun's nozzle and fly toward Wira's forehead. The length of needles were one centimeter and half millimeter thick. The colours of the needles were purple and black.

"Thup!"

It hits Wira's forehead and went through the skin. The needles penetrate through Wira's skull and stuck halfway. When the needles make contact with Wira's blood, it started to dissolve instantly and infuse into his bloodstream. Wira's eyes open wide in shock when he suddenly felt his whole body cramping up.

"HNNGG!!" (Wira)

Akuto stands up beside Wira and smile. Wira's body was still in the shooting pose. Wira's head is still looking down towards Akuto's previous positions. Wira felt his whole body being stuck as if his whole body was being held firmly. He cannot move his body and the cramping pain he felt is getting more painful by the second.

(What is this? What is happening to me?) (Wira)

Akuto suddenly hugs Wira from the side and moves his head closer to Wira's left ear.

"There there piggy~ You must be confused right now~" (Akuto)

Akuto talks to Wira in a playful manner.

"What's happening to me?" Why can't I move?~ Don't worry, I'll explain to you" (Akuto)

Akuto brings his gun that he held in his left hand toward Wira's face. Wira can see the dark violet gun. It looks like an average gun, but with an addition of buttons.

"This is a needle gun. It's not as powerful as your revolver, but it's just as deadly. Or should you call it, venomous~ Your gun can end a life instantly, while mine, let's say it makes you wish to be in the sweet and warm embrace of Death as quickly as possible. "

Akuto smiled mischieviously. Akuto let go of his hug and stand in front of Wira. Akuto reaches his right hand towards Wira's left hand and raise it to make pose as someone who is asking questions.

"GRRKK!"

"URGGHH!!" (Wira)

(F*CCCKKK!!!) (Wira)

Wira was shocked by the pain he felt when Akuto forcefully moved his left hand. Wira felt as if his muscle was being torn apart.

" Senseeiii ~ why do you say that I want to unalive myself quickly? ~" (Akuto)

Akuto makes an impression of Wira's voice by talking in a low tone and playfully. Wira's face started to get paler. Akuto crosses his hands and nods repeatedly while closing his eyes.

"Good questions student piggy. Let me show you."

Akuto talked like a teacher giving explanations to his students. Akuto pointed towards the button on the left side of the gun.

" See this colourful button? Red, blue, purple, and black. Each button represents the ammo that will be shot out of this gun. Instead of a bullet, the ammo of this gun is needles"

Akuto moved Wira's left hand which was raised, towards the chin. Next, he tilt Wira's head to the left.

"GRIIKK! GRUKK!"

"UUURRRGGHHH!" (Wira)

(SH***TTT!!!) (Wira)

Wira's face started to shake from the unbearable pain. Wira's breathing is getting harder and harder. Purplish veins started to become visible on his fingertips. Wira can only pray for the pain to stop. Akuto changes Wira's position again. Akuto changes it from an asking position, into a thinking position.

"Needless Sennseii?~ " (Akuto)

"Yes, needles. Each needle has poison infused in them. With 4 color, means there are 4 types of poison here. "

Akuto pointed to the red button.

"Red is for killing someone instantly. You will have a heart attack and die. But if the target were hit when they were sleeping, they will not feel a thing. They just die while in slumberland" (Akuto)

Akuto pointed to the blue button.

"Blue is non-lethal. It is used to make the target lethargic and fall asleep. I usually use this to kidnap the target or deal with the wife who cannot stop nagging. You know what I mean right?" (Akuto)

Akuto starts to nudge his elbow toward Wira's torso playfully. Wira felt like he was stabbed by a knife.

"HNNGG!" (Wira)

(F*CK YOU!!!) (Wira)

Akuto pointed towards the purple button.

"Purple is for paralyzing effect. It cramps up all your muscles and make you unable to move. Imagine that you have cramps, but instead of your leg, it is your whole body." (Akuto)

Akuto pointed towards the black button.

"Lastly, the black is the most dangerous one. It coagulates the blood in your blood stream and makes it harder for blood to flow to your whole body. It incapacitate your blood to transfer oxygen completely, thus makes you feel like you feel out of breath, choking and drowning alive. In addition, black needles also amplifies the other three poisons by 3 times when they are reacted together."

Akuto suddenly held both of Wira's hand. He move both of Wira's hand and put it on top of his head.

"GRIKK!!"

"UUURRRGGGHH!" (Wira)

(Let… it end… already…) (Wira)

Wira's face is getting paler and the vein in his fingertip can be seen getting more purplish. His nails also started to become darker to almost black.

"OH NO!! What needles did you use to shot me sensei?~" (Akuto)

Akuto lift Wira's face up and look him in the eye.

"Well student piggy. It is the purple and black needles." (Akuto)

Wira look at Akuto's eyes in defeat. Wira was already given up in fighting for his life and ready to accept his death. Akuto held Wira's left cheek.

"For your information, you are not alone. I have also killed all your guards like this" (Akuto)

Wira seems to be surprised and can't understand how one man can kill all his guards.

"I don't want to explain how I did it. It's too long. Let's just say they put their guard's down and underestimate me" (Akuto)

Akuto look at Wira coldly.

"For your information Wira, my method of killing my target are based on their actions. Look at you for example, your vile actions lead to the death of innocents, broken families and fall of government. Your actions eventually led to your victims, searching for me to deal with you. Understand this Wira, before you meet the god of death. I do this job not only for the money." (Akuto)

Akuto caress Wira's hair with his right hand slowly.

"I do this job because I find the joy of looking at the smug and prideful expressions of people like you. People who are thinking they are the king of the world. The people who thought they can do anything to anyone, and live without any consequences. I like to look at the expressions they made. The fear, the helplessness and horror in their eyes when they face me. VIOLET, the bringer of retributions for their vile and sinful actions." (Akuto)

There, under the beautiful moonlight. Wira saw the smiles that he hate the most. The smile that Akuto makes right now was joyful and happy. Wira start to understand the meaning behind that smile. It is the smile of a predator.

Like a fox in sheep's clothing. Akuto pretends to be a prey and let himself be tossed and played around by the sheep who thinks they are the predator. After the sheep let their guard down, the fox removes his clothing and eat the sheep one by one. That is the reason why Akuto never gets mad or fight back this whole month.

He was looking at us. He was thinking what death is suitable for each one of us. He seems to be looking at our actions as stupid and funny. He could end our lives instantly, but he waited and savour his moments. That smiles was the last image that Wira saw before choking to death while standing up, holding his head. He died with his eyes wide open, full of shock and terror.

"What a horrible death fitting for a horrible man. " (Akuto)

Akuto cross his arms and nodded.

"Now, let me take this. You're not going to need it anymore" (Akuto)

Akuto take the revolver from Wira's lifeless hand.

"Now that, is a beautiful revolver. I'll keep this in my collection as memento of you, piggy." (Akuto)

Akuto check the revolver's craftsmanship and looks at the bullets left inside the chamber.

"Akuto?" (Maria)

Akuto turn his head and look towards the directions of the voice.

"Owh! Maria, sorry for forgetting about you a moment there" (Akuto)

Maria had been looking at the exchanges between Akuto and Wira. She also saw Akuto's attitude and demeanor. It was different from what she had seen before. It was like two different person. The Akuto she knows was supposed to be incompetent, a scaredy-cat and unreliable.

But previously, the Akuto she saw was cruel, a bit psychotic and dangerous. Akuto notices Maria was nervous. Akuto smiles at Maria and hid the revolver and the gun in his pocket.

"I understand if you are scared of me. It's okay, I am only cruel towards my target. You're not my target, he is." (Akuto)

Akuto points towards Wira. Maria looks at Wira.

"Is he.. dead?" (Maria)

"Yes, he's dead. And I guarantee you, it was a painful death" (Akuto)

"….." (Maria)

Maria is unable to process what happen in those few minutes of fight, between Akuto and Wira. When Maria look at Wira's lifeless body again, she felt the weight of her shoulders. Maria is relief that Wira will not be able to hurt her ever again. Maria slowly bow towards Akuto.

"Thank you… Akuto" (Maria)

Akuto was surprised with Maria's actions. Akuto smiles apologetically because he felt he is undeserved of her appreciations .

"Nah, you don't have to. it's just that I was hired to kill Wira and saved both you and Hiro. You should thank the old gu-" (Akuto)

"Ah! Hiro!" (Maria)

Maria starts to realise the most important thing, which is the condition of Hiro. Maria run towards Hiro and kneeled in front of him. Akuto looks at Maria and smiles.

"Sigh… youth~" (Akuto)

Akuto walk towards both of them. Akuto kneeled beside Hiro, opposite of Maria.

"Is he alright?" (Maria)

Maria looks towards Akuto nervously.

"His condition is stable for now. I've already stopped the bleeding and put him to sleep so that his body can relax" (Akuto)

Akuto reassures Maria calmly.

"We need to get him to the hospital. He needs to get proper treatment" (Akuto)

"Then, I will go to the staff house and ask the guys for help" (Maria)

"No need. It's too far and we don't have a lot of time. We need to get to the pier" (Akuto)

"The pier?" (Maria)

"Yes, the pier. The old guard is going to help you escape this island and bring Hiro to the hospital." (Akuto)

"The old guard? …He works for Wira right? Can he be trusted?"(Maria)

"I was just gonna tell you about it a few minutes ago, but you already run to your sweet Hiro ~ " (Akuto)

Akuto talk cheekily to Maria. Maria starts to feel embarrassed.

"The old guard is the one who hired me. He wanted me to save both of you and Hiro, while at the same time, kill Wira." (Akuto)

"Really? Then what are we waiting for. Let's go" (Maria)

Maria rush to lift Hiro up.

"Slowly, slowly. He is injured here. Let me help you. You grab his hand, and I grab the other" (Akuto)

When both of them held Hiro's hand, big white circle started to manifest around them. The circle was white in colour and three of them were in the middle of the circle.

"The f*ck ???" (Akuto)
