" Gooooood Morning! Hahaaaa Today's the day!" This young man is Thomas Kenway, he is excitingly shouting about his first day at the Jean Grey School. He is a loud and passionate boy, with the strength to boast. A lot of what Thomas believes in he got from his father's iron will and his mother's kind heart.

" Ha! That's ma boy up and early. Are ye ready for ye first day son?" The young man's father is Sean Kenway, and he is just as loud as his son. In fact, he is the reason Thomas is the way he is in the first place. Growing up Sean was a brawler in the streets of Ireland. Every day he fought just to survive until one day, by chance he was recruited by a local gym for a fighting tournament, it is there he was discovered by the UFC and went on to become world heavyweight champion. He believes there is no problem that can't be overcome by hard work, determination, and two strong fists, something Thomas mirrors perfectly.

" My my. My baby boy is finally leaving the den. I'm going to miss you sweety." This woman is Kali Durga Kenway, the wife of Sean and mother of Thomas. It was during one of Sean's fights that the two met for the first time, Sean was preparing for a fight and the two ran into each other in the hallway. Upon first sight Sean was immediately captured by the woman. And the same could be said for Kali. In the spur of the moment Sean dedicated his victory and title defense to the woman and in front of a live crowd asked her out. And the rest is history.

" I'm not going to be far, it's only an hour away. Besides I promised to visit whenever I have a chance." Thomas told the woman.

" You better. Now, come on you two. I believe it is time to go." Kali straightened up and pointed to the clock. Upon seeing the time, both Sean and Thomas screamed.

" AHHHHHHHHH! We're gonna be late!!!!" Thomas and Sean grabbed Kali and carried her to the car.

' I swear my boys are a handful. I pray for whatever sweet young girl; my son falls for.' Kali thought to herself before suddenly being thrown into the car by the two boys.

An hour-long car ride later and finally the family arrived at the school.

" See, honey we weren't going to be late." Kali told the erratic man.

Having made it to his destination Sean began calming down and relaxed into his seat. " Yeah thankfully. You ready, son?" Sean turned and asked the boy.

Thomas jumped out of the car and raised his arms to the sky. " ALRIGHT! LET'S GO!!!" Thomas Shouted

" I guess this is where we part, for the rest of the school year." Kali stated, drawing the boy's attention towards her. " We've already discussed you're living arrangements and other necessities when we met with the headmasters. There's nothing else for us to do now."

" That's right. From here on out it's up to you, son. This is where your story begins. Make the best of it son, whatever that may look like." Sean told the boy.

Thomas looked back at his parents, raised his fist and grinned. " I'm off." With that said Thomas turned back to the school and with his luggage in his three hands walked towards it.

As the two watched their son disappear, Sean began crying.

" What's the matter sweety?" Kali asked the man.

Sean wiped his eyes and nose repeatedly trying to clear his face. " I'm just sad to see him go." Sean told the woman.

" It's only for a year sweetheart. Don't worry he'll be back before you know it. Until then we have the house to ourselves." Kali told the man.

Catching on to what she meant Sean perked right up.

Kali giggled and then picked Sean up and placed him back in the car and the two drove off.

Meanwhile, Thomas made his way to his dorm room and placed his belongings down. " Huh, Kubark? I wonder who that is. Oh well, let's go see what class is like." Thomas pulled out his class schedule and looked at the first class on the list " All right let's see, Future history 101 with headmaster Kitty Pryde. Okay." With that said Thomas walked out of his classroom.

The school was large, probably larger than any that came before. And Thomas knew he was in for the ride of his life.
