" Okay, let me get this straight. Cable is back and the little girl or Hope is back with him. What does this mean?"

Nathan asked Logan as he and Laura sat with the man in a diner.

" It means they need help. And if our people ever want to flourish again we will help."

Logan said to the man.

" Okay, but this about the both of us. What do you want to do Laura?"

Nathan asked the feral woman.

" What we need to do. Let's go help them out."

Laura replied to the man.

" Guess, that settles it."

Nathan said as he got up from his chair

The three mutants quickly paid their bill and left the small diner before heading to the X-Jet.

" Jumping back into the fire. I'm beginning to think we'll never get a real break from all of it. But hey, at least it's fun."

Nathan said to Laura as the three flew towards Utopia.

The trip was a short one filled with quiet and unease as Nathan had wondered why now of all times cable and hope had returned. Though he had to quickly shove those thoughts to the back of his head as he knew all hell would break loose real soon.

" Wake up sparky, we're here."

Logan said as he kicked Nathan out of his stupor.

Nathan looked up at the man before getting up out of his seat. The hatch to the X-jet opened and the three Mutants stepped out and were greeted by Cyclops and the rest of Alpha team.

" Kurt! Peter! Good to see you guys again. It's been a while." Nathan said as he greeted his former friends and teachers.

" Da! You look well my friend."

Peter said as he shook the man's surprisingly strong hand.

" Ya, it does my heart well, to see you again. We never got to properly say goodbye."

Kurt said to the man.

" Well, I don't blame you guys for that. I blame that asshole over there!"

Nathan said as he nudged his head towards Scott.

" Nathan meet my sister Illyana!"

Peter said to the man as he pointed to his sister.

Nathan smiled and walked over to the woman.

" Hello, name's Nathan Drake. Nice to meet you Illyana."

Nathan introduced himself to the woman.

" Likewise. All of Utopia saw that little prank of yours. Nice."

Illyana joked.

" All right, if you're all done greeting each other we have a mission to take care of. Nathan! Laura! Get suited up. We move out in five."

Scott yelled to the two.

" Cool it boy scout. I don't take orders from you."

Nathan said to the man defiantly.

Cyclops and Nathan both glared at each other before Scott walked away. After a few minutes Laura and Nathan returned to the group suited up and ready for battle.

Once everyone was ready Illyana used her teleportation magic to send everyone toward the sight of Cable and Hopes appearance.

" Oh, wow. Now this brings back some memories."

Nathan said as he looked around at the wrecked X-mansion.

" Looks like we missed one hell of a party."

Logan said as he looked around at the dead Soldiers.

" Why are they smiling? That's just creepy."

Pixie said as she examined the bodies.

" They must be happy to see you again Megan."

Illyana joked creeping the girl out more.

" You're creepy too."

Pixie replied.

" Why does this look so familiar?"

Nathan asked as he looked at the soldiers gear.

" The Right. Paramilitary Anti-Mutant zealots under the command of..."

Laura was explaining before Logan cut her off.

" Not now, X. Your boy was here, slim... Trashed five of the smileys. That's not all there's another scent. She's with him."

Logan said as he picked up two scents on the scene.

" Let me be clear. Nothing and no one is more important than this girl. Without her, we have no future. Everything we've been through. Every death we've suffered. Every tragedy we've endured these last months. It's all for this moment. For her. This is what we signed up for, X-Men. This is what we die for. Hope."

Scott explained to the Mutants.

" Cable's a soldier, with hostile forces chasing him. He'll go to ground to lose pursuit. He'll want to get the lay of the land, establish threats, and control the situation. And knowing what cable is going to do will give us the advantage. Find Cable, find the girl, bring them to Utopia to safety. Wolverine you know what to look for."

Scott continued explaining.

Wolverine sniffed the air and reported what he found.

" I've got'em. Three vans. Sapien league. Let's go."

Logan said to the group.

Angel picked Nathan and Laura up as Nathan held Logan and flew off, with the rest of the X-Men teleporting, towards the Sapien League

" Drop us!"

Logan said to Warren as they flew over the vans.

The three mutants crashed landed onto the van and started attacking the anti-Mutant terrorists inside the van.

"Ah!!"

Laura yelled as she sliced one of the men's throats with her claws.

Nathan elbowed one of the men in his nose breaking it and kicked another man out the back of the moving van and into traffic.

Up front, Logan stuck his claws into the wheel of the van causing it to flip. The car tumbled through traffic throwing the remaining occupants of the vehicle around violently.

" Ugh! Dick move wolverine."

Nathan groaned as he burst out of the wrecked van with Laura right behind him.

Nathan looked around to see the rest of the X-Men finished with their fights as well.

Nathan turned to see wolverine and Laura going after two surviving Sapien league members for interrogation.

Logan slammed the man up against one of the wrecked vans and placed his fist under the mans chin popping two claws in the process.

" Gonna ask you this once, you inbred piece of crap. How are you tracking them?!"

Logan asked the captured man.

" Go to hell mutie. I'll die before I tell you squat."

The man said defiantly.

" Are you sure?"

Logan asked again.

Laura seeing the man wasn't going to talk stuck her claws into the head of her prisoner, killing him effectively immediately, much to Kurts surprise and shock.

" Mein Gott. What did you do?!"

Kurt asked as he teleported to the woman.

" What needed to be done."

Laura replied.

" Get your hands off her!!!!"

Nathan yelled as he shoved Kurt away from Laura.

Kurt looked up at the man in shock.

" Oh god! Oh god! please."

The other Sapien leaguer begged.

" Ready to talk?"

Logan asked the man.

" I don't know I swear to God. I don't know how he's tracking them. He's sending us the location."

The man said.

" Wait, the Right? I remember now... OH!!!! FUCK!"

Nathan groaned as he realized who the man was talking about.

" Who? What are you talking about comrade?"

peter asked.

" Enough Wolverine! Soundwave! What is going on here? You two, Laura, Warren. You're all keeping something from us."

Psylocke stated.

" So, I'm guessing the boy scout never told you about it."

Nathan asked.

" Told us what? Logan! Cyclops! You know what this is, don't you? What are you keeping from us?"

Kurt asked in a rage.

" Uh-Oh Boy scout."

Nathan whispered as he looked at the group.
