Chapter 35: Eleana and Gilgamesh vs Venitas and Midray

Midray managed to catch up to Venitas and she said, "wait, Venitas! Let's talk!"

Venitas stopped walking and he said, "look if you want me to pair up with that bastard that's not going to happen! Do you hear me?!"

Midray said, "look I'm not asking you to pair with him. What I'm asking you to do is to help me get us out of here alive. I know that you're not a kid anymore. Whatever happened in the past has to be let go. You have to move on. In life, nothing goes as we wish and that's the reason why we have to get used to it and live with it."

Venitas said, "do you think it's easy to do that?! I guess you have no idea what it feels like to be in my position. I lost my Wife and children because of those bastard Gods! If you think you can make me cooperate with that scum! Then go back fuck yourself? You have no idea how it feels like to lose the person that you love and probably you have no idea how it feels like to love someone dearly. No wonder you have no family that stood by your side."

Before Venitas continued speaking Midray slapped him hard and he was stunned by it.

Venitas looked at Midray and he said, "how dare you hit me?!"

Midray said, "you're the worst guy I've ever met in my whole life! You only think about the pain that you're experiencing. You never know how I suffered at their hand and here you are thinking that you're the one who suffered the most!'

Venitas ended up being speechless.

Midway said, "back then when I was still a human everything is just fine. I was just a little girl back then, life was peaceful. I use to play around with my friends and my brothers and sisters. However, that peace never lasts long. A day passed by the news about the incoming war of the Gods entered our kingdom.

Legends have it that when powerful being like Gods attack each other brings terrifying changes to the landscape of the whole world.

I was just a kid at that time, I have no idea of what is going on around me. Every day and every night my dad is always tasked to guard the nation's borders since his part of a regime that's focused on exterminating powerful monsters so he has to be always there. I rarely see him visiting us. If I remember correctly he only visited us once a week due to the rising tension outside the country. Moreover, it took years and grew much worst than before.

The 1st wall didn't last long and it finally collapsed.

Hundreds of monsters entered the walls of our kingdom and took countless lives. A stampede has risen as the people run to the second wall. Everything was a mess. In that stampede, many children have been separated from their parents and one of them is me.

One of the monsters swallowed me whole alive. I was only thinking of surviving back then so I have no choice but to create a hole out of that monster's stomach and for that to happen I have to eat its flesh inside.

As I keep eating that monster I suddenly ended up gaining its power and turning into what I am right now. This thing is a curse.

After I had gotten out of there alive I looked for my family and do you know what happened after that."

Venitas said with a pitiful look, "I don't want to hear it."

Midray said, "right, it shouldn't have ended up that way but still it ends up that way. They were terrified of me and they took me into the soldier's fortress and do inhuman stuff like severing my limbs over and over and violating my dignity as a woman. It was so painful, I can't die because I've turned into an immortal."

Do you know what's more painful than what happened?"

Venitas said, "I don't know."

Midray said, "my parents watch me being tortured while cursing me over and over and they kept on begging me to return their daughter while their daughter is already right in front of them. Being violated by countless men and being every day and every night. It was so painful, I can't breathe. I kept on screaming for help but nobody want to save me. I was just able to get out of there thanks to my best friend, Zeke. He believed in me and help me to get out of that country.

I took that opportunity to gain the power to return to my former looks but I failed. No matter how hard I try I'll never be able to return to my old looks. I give up on doing it and tried to meet Zeke and what happened there made me lose my sanity and kill anyone on-site including my family without showing any mercy."

Venitas said, "let me guess what happened. Your best friend was executed for helping you escape"

Midray said, "it's not just him but his entire family. They were whole hanging in front of the kingdom's palace without wearing any clothes and they were all wiped to death by hundreds of soldiers behind them. Zeke's whole family is cursing him to death while he remains silent. They were all howling in pain as the soldiers continues to wipe them. While they were breathing with their last breath Zeke looks around the crowd like he was looking for someone until he saw me. He smiled at me and said, "everything will be fine. I'll go somewhere and ill be waiting for you there. Now before I gave my last breath I'm going to confess my feelings to you. You see since I first I've fallen for you. I know that you just think of me as your best friend and these feelings of mine are just childish love to you since we're still just kids but I want you to know that I'm serious about it. I've been dreaming for the both of us to grow old, get married, have children of our own, and have grandchildren but I guess this is the end of that dream. I guess this is the end of my feelings for you so I'm going to say my last words. I love you Misha Von alshfaim."

After that confession, he draws his last breath and closes his eyes as he slowly falls into the hands of death. While I slowly fall hatred, anger, and disparity. After the death of Zeke and his family, the whole crowd shouted in joy as they die while I lost my sense of reasoning and started to kill everyone I just swing long and sharp claws around without a care about who I might kill. After that, I burn the whole kingdom with my power and harvest all of their souls like a monster and use it as my power to stand up where I'm today." Midway is crying as she tells her story

Venitas hugged Midray to stop her from crying and Venitas said, "I'm sorry for not cooperating. Now, can you please stop crying? You look ugly when your crying."

Midway was surprised and she looked at Venitas. She asks to herself and said, "is this guy putting on a gentle act just to mess with me?"

Midway vowed down and smile. She whispered, "even if it's just an act I still appreciate it. Thank you Venitas."

Their peaceful time was disrupted as a man holding a katana enters and said, "Eleana, I spotted two love birds here. What should we do about them?"

Venitas and Midray looked at the man as if going they were going to engage in a combat situation.

A woman walks out of a bush and said, "of course, we kill them. We will make them realize that this is not the time to fool around."

Venitas said, "is that all? Common if you're just going to keep on talking we aren't going anywhere from here."

Gilgamesh said, "you look so eager to die. Well, I'm going to grant your wish if that's what you want."

Venitas said, "bring it on and give me your best shot. I'll make you see what the strongest True demon lord is with the likes of you.

Gilgamesh said, "you've got guys to provoke me, boy. Let's see if you manage to get out of this alive."

Both of them tighten their grip on their sword as they are about to engage in killing each other.

Venitas gives a terrifying glare as his black and red aura runs wild like a hurricane that's ready to destroy a country. While Gilgamesh turned into a Dragonoid that has long horns, scaly black skin, razor wings, and a razor tail.

Gilgamesh said, "it's time for you to die!" Venitas said, "same goes with you!'

The battle between Venitas and Gilgamesh has started. As they run so fast their footprint burns and causes a wide wildfire, Trees are sent flying away, and they've created a lot of craters in the whole forest like the whole forest is being showered with an atomic bomb.

Gilgamesh used a skill and said, "take this! Spatial crushing slash!'

Gilgamesh sword gives a powerful aura and slashes Venitas. However, Venitas block the attack and he said, "is that all that you got? I haven't reached the peak of my power and yet your already struggling to kill me? Let me increase your struggle to kill me."

Gilgamesh smirked and said, "I think you're overestimating yourself here Venitas. Although you're quite strong. However, you're not strong enough to overpower me!'

As he said this Venitas was helplessly pinned to the ground and he vomits a lot of blood.

Eleana said, "ahh, now Gilgamesh has done it. I guess I'll take you on as my opponent you slut!"

Eleana charges at Midray but she was surprised because she can't find Midray anywhere.

Eleana said, "I guess that bitch run away out of fright."

Eleana was surprised because she saw a hand with long and sharp claws spring out of her chest.

Eleana said, "I see, so you're just good at just sneaking attacks. If you think crushing my heart will kill me. I guess you're a fool one."

Eleana used her elbow to attack Midray but Midray already knew it and Eleana's arm turned into dust in an instant.

Midray said, "then if this doesn't work. I'll just chop your body into pieces."

Eleana uses her head to attack Midray and kick her after she loses her balance.

Midray was being by her kick and Eleana follows her like a madman that is ready to put a hole in Midray's face with her fist.

Eleana jumps so high and is ready to hit Midray with her blazing fist but Midray managed to deflect her attack and slash her arm into pieces. Midray immediately uses her sharp and tries to slash Eleana in half but she was surprised when she saw Eleana was unscathed and she blocks her kick using her own bare hands.

Midray asked herself, "how is this possible? She was able to recover both of her in an instant and the hole in her chest is gone too. This one is far beyond my power. She's a monster beyond any creature that I've fought. Her regeneration speed surpasses the 4 superior rulers that I know. Not Leviathan can do this."

Eleana smiled and said, "what's wrong? Spacing out in the middle of the battle?"

Eleana grabs Midray's legs and throws her away into mid-air.

Eleana used skill and "law of nature, pressure type, annihilating clap!'

Eleana gives a power that made the whole forest, sky, and mountains collide with each other like 2 waves in the ocean meet with each other.

Eleana flies up in the sky to look for Midray and she saw her being squashed between 2 mountains.

Eleana tried to fly closer to Midray but she was surprised when Midray suddenly jumps up.

Midray used a skill and said, "ultimate skill, ruler of the void dark helix claw!'

Midray gives a powerful claw attack and Eleana said, "I see, that basic attack of mine is not enough to kill you. Since you took my attack head-on. It will only be fair if I take head on and feel strong you are since this is the first time we fought each other. I'm going to judge how strong you are."
