Chapter 29: I will find him and I will kill him

While the battle at the Etrials is ongoing, the Celestial kingdom is in a state of chaos.

One of the Celestial Maidens approaches Xerath and said "we have successfully suppressed the enemy's army. What should we do next?"

Xerath said, "you did a great job on handling the frontline, Iris. Now I order you and the rest of the Celestial maidens to retreat and protect Asmodeus's body."

Iris said, "yes commander."

Iris flies away from the location and Cera asked "so, how are we going to deal with that old man who followed Iris here?"

Xerath said "of course, we're going to take care of that old man. With all of our 4 powers combine he has nowhere to go even if he's one of Asmodeu's right-hand guardians."

The old man is in a butler's uniform. He is wearing a top hat and gloves. He has a came and a monocle eyeglass in his right eye.

They were all surprised when they heard the old man speak very loudly and said "I see, whoever is in this castle is very quite confident enough to defeat me in a battle. I don't know who are you people but I'm advising you not to overestimate yourselves."

Xerath shouted, "we're not overestimating ourselves, we're just stating facts here."

The old man said "to think that I, Kixin the 3rd to the strongest right hand guardian of Asmodeus! I'll make you eat your words!"

Kixin charges toward the temple like a raging bull and gives a powerful punch. However, he was being thrown away as his fist made a contact with an invincible force field.

The Kixin said "I see, so won't be that easy to bring this temple into ruins that easily. You're a pretty smart one Alicia but we will still succeed on this."

Kixin used skill and said "galactical cannon burst!"

A huge set of magic a circle lined up together and aim toward the temple and shoots a lot of dark magic at the temple.

Xerath said, "Kixin, Kixin, I think you're overestimating yourself."

Xerath used skill and said "sword art skill! Judgment sword art!"

Kixin eyes got wide open and said "wait, that sword art skill, isn't that skill unique skills of the upper moon angels that our king killed after the war between Xerxis and the rest of the Gods? Could it be that they're still alive? There's no way that they're still alive. After all, our king said that the upper moon angels were resurrected by Rosario Mourning Star right after she became a divine being that is on the same level as Alicia.

Probably, they've just managed to pass down their knowledge to someone so if this attack is not from Xerath I can take this head-on."

A huge sword appeared in the sky and fall toward Kixin. As a result, Kixin's attack was disrupted as he prepared himself to defend himself.

The whole place starts to tremble as the sword approaches.

Kixin said "oi, are you kidding me? I can't take this head-on I have to do something to stop it!"

Kixin looked out his cane and unsheathe his sword from it.

Kixin used skill and said "atomic slash!"

He went so fast and slash the huge sword into pieces like nothing.

Kixin smirked and said, "is that all that you got?!"

All 4 of them steps out and Shera said "this guy loves to overestimate himself."

Kixin stared at them as if like he were seeing a ghost

Cera said "I think it's been 700 years since we've faced this old man and his friends and nothing has changed. Do you think you will succeed in your plan here?!"

Xerath touched his chest and said, "ah, I still pain of being stabbed like a lunatic by this old man back then as my body starts to lose its life, and now, here we are facing each other. This time ill make sure you experience the same thing."

Kixin looked at them seriously and said "if we failed to kill you last time, I'll make sure you die, this time for sure!!!"

Xerath said, "ill take you up on that."

They've all unsheathed their sword like they're about to break into a fight.

Kixin used telepathy to contact someone and said "oi, what is going on here? Why the upper moon angels are still alive?"

The person on the other side said "so there is a strange happening on your side as well, huh?"

Kixin asked, "what do you mean?"

The person on the other side said "you see, on the other timeline. When Gilgamesh and Eleana are fighting the 4 superior rulers, Melliones is there fighting them alongside the 4 superior rulers but now she's nowhere to be found."

Kixin said "well, this is a little bit of surprise. What are you going to suggest?"

The person on the other side said "why don't you just ignore those pests and grab our lord's body already."

Kixin said "it's easier said than done. You see, the upper moon angels are not the same as before. They've gained a tremendous amount of power these past centuries, and right now. 4 of them are enough to fight in equal footing against me. I'm not fooling around, I have to fight them seriously or else I'll die."

The person on the other side said "what about Rexa? Where is she?"

Another person joined in their conversation and said "I see, you're in a tight situation like me as well."

Kixin asked, "what do you mean, Rexa?"

Rexa said, "you see, I tried to enter the temple at the back but a troublesome barrier seems to be blocking my way."

Kixin said, "well, why don't you try to find a way to push past the barrier?!"

Rexa said, "well, I'm gonna try to do that but…"

The person on the other side said "let me guess, you're dealing with the celestial maidens, right?"

Rexa said, "bingo, they keep on pestering me like hell."

The person on the other side said "let me guess, there's only 4 of them, right?"

Rexa said, "yes, you're right."

The person on the other side sigh in relief and said "at least, there is something accurate here."

Rexa asked, "so you know where is the other one?"

The person on the other side said "yeah and she's currently protecting the sleeping Rosario Mourning Star that is currently sleeping."

Kixin asked, "can I ask about his progress?"

The person on the other side said "sure ill just contact him."

The person on the other side contacted someone and he managed to connect with him.

The person on the other side asked "oi, thor., what's your progress on your side? How are things at there?"

He keeps calling for thor but his not saying a word.

The person on the other side got angry and shout and asked "goddamn it Thor! Answer us! Tell us what is going on there!"

Within just a few seconds they heard loud screaming and crying."

Rexa asked "Thor, what is going on?! Why are you crying?"

Thor shouted "Rexa! Kixin! Help me! Mom, Dad, and my brother are coming to get me!!!"

Kixin said "what are you, delusional?! You killed your mother, father, and brother right in front of us when you pledge your loyalty and now you're saying they're alive and trying to kill you?!"

Thor said in trembling voice "I-I don't how it happened but I swear they're dead back then! I crushed their heads, hearts, and smashed their bodies and souls into pieces just to make sure they are dead even king Ezreal confirmed that they're dead!"

The person on the other side said "youre right, I check if they're and it's confirmed that they died back then. However, I think you're just slacking of right there because you're the weakest among us. You couldn't even get your done! You see! Rosario Mourning Star is in a vulnerable condition and yet you couldn't do something?! Goddamn it Thor!"

They felt a crawling chills upon their body when they heard a creepy woman's voice saying "oh, my poor son. Just because you couldn't get your job done."

They heard another creepy old man's voice saying "why don't you just join us in hell? There, we will be a complete family again. With me, your mom, and your brother I'm sure we will be happy. However, you have to die in the same way how we died, just to be fair."

Thor shouted "goddamn you! I'll never join any of you! You're all dead and I shouldn't be here!"

They heard another creepy voice of grown saying "oh no brother, do you think you can get out of here easily after what you have done to the gods and us? You've taken my place among the 13 great gods and killed your own family as you joined Asmodeus?! You got a lot of hell to pay."

Rexa and Kixin lost their focus on the battle as they heard Thor's screams in pain. As result, they are starting to get beaten up by the upper moon angels and celestial maidens

The 3 of them heard some weapons smash into the ground and heard a squishy and cracking sound like bones and organs were being squashed by something.

Ezreal hold on to his head as he trembles. He asked himself "goddamn it, how did this happen? Why are we starting to lose? This didn't happen back then so how the hell everything turned into this?"

Ezreal think deeply to himself and said "think Ezreal, think, how things end up into this? Wait, what if someone from the future altered the past? Who could that bastard be? Alicia managed to send a message to her past self before we killed her and all of her powers to resurrect Asmodeus. Wait, that's not it. She died as she send a message to her past self and right now her current self is fighting the fully resurrected Asmodeus and at that time her future self is dead so who could it be?

Wait, in the first place, how did Alicia know that she have to time-travel to the future and save Rosario? Who told her she must go there? Did someone among our forces betray us?"

Ezreal has quit thinking and said "thinking about this makes my head hurt. Whoever is messing up with the current timeline I'll find him and I will kill him!"
