Want to show off your a genius. Well with the raising popularity of chess why not learn to play. I will cover the basics of things such as how the board looks and works to how each piece works. I will go over simple openings and give you a edge for the start of each game. After all with chess being so easy to get now by simply downloading a free app why not try. Especially if you go to school still like I do. I was freshman in high school bringing my chess board every day when we weren’t busy and taught people how to play and made friends I didn’t think I would meet ever. However please give this a shot. This is not just a simple guide but also goes over history of chess sometimes and adds story elements once and a while. So sit back. Relax and play chess while showing off to whoever you want. My age is a secret however I am in high school. My chess online rating at its peak was 1200. My over the board rating by FIDE is 1300 rounding down. I have played I tournaments before and have won small cash prizes. I struggle in mid to end games but everyone I have met agrees my openings are great usually. A opening is usually the first ten to fifteen moves of a game at most usually.
