Elijah's Rescue Plan

After Elijah left, it took time for Heidi to calm herself down again and roughly rubbed her face. Heidi looked at Sofia, who had not left her side, then felt strange when she saw that the princess seemed to be thinking about something serious rather than sad like her.

"What are you thinking about?"

With a hoarse voice, Heidi finally asked Sofia. Only when Heidi asked, Sofia finally snapped out of her daze. The girl looked at Heidi, then said what had been on her mind all along.

"'Stay here because I have a plan'. I think she said that before."

"Who said that?" asked Heidi, who didn't understand what Sofia meant by that. She was too focused on looking at Elijah from beginning to end that she did not see Embla's lips as Sofia did.

"The elf who took Elijah away. She said that I should stay here because she had other plans. Since she was sent by Sir Griffin, I'm sure she won't just let Elijah be executed either."
