When Elijah woke up and found that he was lying on a bed, the first thing he did was get up to escape while no one was looking after him. Elijah may not remember what happened during the time he was unconscious from lack of blood. However, the teenager did remember that the entire population of Nala City had become his current enemy.
No matter whether the person who brought him had good intentions or not, Elijah just wanted to leave immediately to find a safe place while he was still awake. Yet, Elijah almost stumbled when he stepped on the mat that was used as a floor mat in that place. The lack of blood plus the effects of being asleep for too long seemed to have disturbed Elijah's body balance system.
