Rising Flame Mountain

With no money to prepare, no reputation to ask for help from NPCs and no friends in the game, Yu Zhen decided to set off at once.'Even if it's stupidly hard, that doesn't mean that it's impossible.' Yu Zhen thought to himself, steeling his resolve.

Using his years of experience surviving in the wild, he managed to get past the level 1-10 areas by using the environment to hide, but only after barely escaping death 3 times since most monsters in these areas can one shot him. Through the level 10-20 areas he managed to not get detected by constantly covering his tracks, masking his scent, and using the environment as camouflage. This carried on for 7 hours until he made it to the base of Rising Flame Mountain.

"If I didn't have to do so many tedious things on the way so I don't get discovered, i'd have made it here in 2 hours tops dammit."Yu Zhen grumble while making his way unto the mountain.

SCREE~

Unfortunately for Yu Zhen, 5 seconds after stepping unto the base of the mountain he heard a loud call sounding like an eagle. But before he could even turn around to see what it was, he saw a screen in front of him.

[You have died]

[will revive at the last city you visited in 30 minutes]

'...'

"Note to self: watch out for birds."

...

30 minutes later Yu Zhen revived in the middle of the city."God dammit, now I have to go all the way back there."

At the time where Yu Zhen was troubling over his quest, the average user level has risen to 2 while some pros and levelling maniacs are at level 3.

This time, Yu Zhen only took 5 hours to get back but the leading pros had gotten just over half way through level 3. Yu Zhen dug out a shrub and covered his body in it while moving slowly.

Yu Zhen immediately stopped after hearing the deafening cry once again. This time it seems he wasn't noticed. He looked up to see what it was and saw a huge eagle circling the area. It had flame patterns on its 8 meter long wings. The patterns trailed off it's wings and onto its 4 and a half meter long body. However it's size was not what intimidated Yu Zhen.

After seeing this information Yu Zhen was tense.'Question marks only show when it's at least 35 levels above you, but what's scarier is it's still growing. It's not an adult.' Yu Zhen thought, his face had a hint of fear.

After the eagle left Yu Zhen continued to climb the mountain slowly.'I understand I stole a bowl of soup, but does that old lady hate me this much for it? It's only a bowl of soup!'Yu Zhen thought while regretting he had accepted this god forsaken quest. Because of the awareness and level of the monsters on the mountain, Yu Zhen had to basically creep his way up the mountain.

After 7 hours of torture, he managed to reach the peak of the mountain. However what Yu Zhen saw made his expression sink immediately. It was a giant red snake at least 40 metres long with the distinct pattern of a flame on top of its head.

'F*ck this sh*tty game"

Question marks only show on the name when it's a boss tier monster at least 35 levels above you.'Dammit that old hag.' Yu Zhen cursed.

While he was cursing the Beast Sage in his mind, something caught his attention.'Huh what's that?' There was a small, barely noticeable light flickering in a 3 feet tall hole behind the Giant snake. It was very well hidden, and if it weren't for his incredible sense for detail, he wouldn't notice it.'How the hell am I supposed to go check it?' suddenly Yu Zhen had a headache.

"Wait I have an idea."Yu Zhen said while revealing a devilish smile.

He then turned around and for the first time since he started the game, held his bow and knocked an arrow. He was aiming at the Flame eagles in the distance.

thweng thweng thweng thweng~

Yu Zhen shot four arrows in succession at the fire eagles that were barely over 100 meters away thanks to him being at the peak of the mountain. The arrows missed but he never intended to hit, only draw their attention, in which he succeeded. After he shot his arrows he quickly hid his presence in the shrubs again.

Hiding from the higher levelled eagles who had already noticed him was impossible, but the giant snake behind him was a different story. Clearly sensing the approach of the eagles, the giant snake got up and intercepted the eagles. It bit at an eagle and swallowed it whole at a speed which Yu Zhen couldn't track with his own eyes, but that was fine since he was no longer there. Yu Zhen crawled into the hole as quickly as he could. After 5 minutes of crawling, he got to the source of the flickering light.

The area of the cave where he was in had widened out considerably with the top of the cave being 20 feet high and the width of the cave was around 35 feet wide. In front of him stood a 5 foot tall Pitch Black Flame. There was only one problem. Yu Zhen's Health bar was dropping and it would be gone within a minute.

"It's so damn hot." Yu Zhen felt like was slowly baking in an oven. Yu Zhen looked at the flame in front of him and its one line of information appeared.

[Primordial Source flame]

Yu Zhen took out the egg from his inventory and it immediately leapt into the black flames. There was just one problem with that though. The flames started expanding. Yu Zhen started running for dear life before crawling for dear life as the hole was the only exit from the cave. Just as Yu Zhen's health bar was about to drop to zero he got out of the cave and sprinted with full force, not minding the giant snake. The snake was about to attack Yu Zhen, but the flame had expanded and engulfed it, turning it to ash in seconds.

Soon, the flame had taken up the entire Mountain peak.

SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEE~

A loud and majestic shriek echoed throughout the entire Rising Flame Kingdom followed by a system announcement.

[A Primordial Beast has been born, Congratulations to the player Fallen Arrow for hatching a Divine Creature]

"..."

The entire player base was thrown into chaos.

"Who is Fallen Arrow, I don't think I've heard that name among the experts."

"He might be a hidden expert."

"How are you so sure it's a he." a girl on the side retorted

"Does that even matter right now? THEY HATCHED A FREAKING DIVINE CREATURE!"

"In the forums all the big guilds are offering high prices of 50,000 credits just to find the player Fallen Arrow."

Back on Yu Zhen's side he saw the system message along with another message.

Yu Zhen couldn't stop his jaw from dropping to the floor.
