Walking up the stairs Astrick raised his guard to another level, he still hasn't forgotten his bad feeling before he got into this house and since he was yet to be met with any threatening situation he felt the need to be more cautious with his next move...
After a while of climbing up the stairs, Astrick finally reached the end of them as he could see it just a few steps more and he'll reach the second floor...
But when he reached the second floor he got so confused as he was unable to see anything...
Not an empty room or anything like that but absolutely nothing, it felt more as if he was looking up to space but without its stars and light, it was just a large void full of darkness...
Walking slowly through the darkness, Astrick had a weird feeling of familiarity as if he knows this place like the palm of his hand. It was a very odd, strange feeling and he couldn't get where it was coming from...
After walking through the darkness for what felt like an eternity, and when Astrick was about to give up on finding anything in this darkness, he was eventually able to see something different from this never-ending colourless space...
He could see what seemed to be a big mansion in the distance, but the mansion wasn't what attracted his attention as he raised his head slowly to look at the sky.
Right above his head, huge cracks which seemed to create poorly written words which spelt "FREE ME" were visible to his bare eyes, the cracks seemed to be tearing the sky apart creating an image that'd sent shivers down the spines of the bravest men...
But Astrick himself was feeling no fear at the moment despite staring deeply into the tears in the sky...
His emotions were mixed as he finally found what has been giving him the familiar feeling this whole time, but what he didn't expect is for it to be the same thing that has been giving him a bad feeling as well, and though there was no fear in his heart, a strong sense of dread was coming from the deep insides of his soul which he couldn't tell the reason behind...
Astrick felt so curious about the tears and the reasons behind their effect on him and the way they made him feel. But staring at them won't help him understand any of this and so he moved towards the entrance of the big white mansion ahead of him...
Getting into the insides of the Mansion, Astrick was surprised to find nothing unusual, which was pretty unusual itself as people who own this type of Mansion tend to have their houses built in a way that shows people how much money they got...
So having usual, normal furniture in such a place could be nothing but unusual and it made Astrick very suspicious about this whole place. But despite his doubts he had to discover the insides of the Mansion in hopes to find some answers to his new-found questions.
But even after searching the entire place, he was barely able to find some things non of which are of true importance to him as the only things he found were books for learning how to write and read and what seemed to be a phone much more advanced than the ones they got in his world.
Because even though they too have their own cell phones, it's still not that advanced as they could only make phone calls and take pictures, but that didn't mean that people in Astrick's world were dumber than people on Earth or anything like that, but they were held back by the strong gravity as well as the cruel, harsh space which didn't allow them to send their satellites that high holding their technological progress at its place not allowing it to move on...
Putting the phone in his pocket, Astrick went on searching every inch of the house without ignoring a single detail, and after a long search, he was finally done with his searching as he found out something very important...
Whoever owned that Mansion was here not so long ago as their trails were still visible and Astrick could tell through them that the owner might still be around, and so Astrick decided to wait for them so he might perhaps get the answers he want.
But unfortunately for him, as soon as he sat down waiting for the owner, his body suddenly disappeared out of nowhere leaving no sign of it ever previously being here.
But what Astrick didn't know is while he was looking through the Mansion, not so far yet not so close away a black-haired boy was peeking through a black-coloured wall that matched perfectly with the surroundings hiding the boy alongside the beautiful girl standing beside him...
If Astrick was here right now he would be so shocked to see that the girl looks like an exact female replica of himself.
...
After noticing Astrick's disappearance the boy leaned on the black wall he created behind him leaving a long exhausted sigh as he thought to himself...
' That was so close...! '
.....
Meanwhile, Astrick somehow found himself back at the old shop while his hand was making contact with a half-red, half-blue demon mask with a few feathers coming off the side of it, which when he saw his eyes widened in shock as he thought...
' Was it an illusion...? '
....
