Arthur and Guth who were talking looked at the test crystal together, a girl with blue eyes and red hair, was waiting for the announcement of her test, the result was already visible but no emotion could be seen on her face.

"Kariel Girnath, WHITE MANA CORE, 16 MANA CHANNELS, CLASS A!"

The girl came down from the stage and stopped next to the other children who had already taken the test.

She was the first Class A this year, that's why the uproar in the stands, after Kariel the test continued without much commotion, Guth was called and also got Class A with the same result as Kariel.

'So far out of the 100 who took the test ten passed, the worst so far was 10 mana channels.'

Arthur didn't know if there was a limit for A-class students, but if the standard were to hold out of the 500 kids that year, 50 would be in A-class.

Arthur only had the basic knowledge he received in Maplewood, but he noticed that only 2 children without a last name made it to Class A, he realized that only nobles had a last name, he made a mental note to research everything about this new world when he was in the academy.

As he rambled on about course of action after doing the Arthur noticed that Kariel was staring at him, he nodded but she looked away and concentrated on the test.

'This boy's mana core had almost no impurities, interesting some purification technique or a miracle elixir?'

Kariel's family had the ability to sense other people's core mana naturally.

Unaware of Arthur being the focus of so much attention, Kariel and several other people in the stands had the same thought, who was this kid and who was behind him?

Arthur realized that the stands were full and everyone was elegant, everyone was talking about the new members of Class A. In the center of the stands was a luxurious box, it was the place reserved for the Royal Family.

The queen was looking at the test without much interest when her eyes met Arthur's who nodded at her as he chuckled.

Ophelia Stormwind had long blonde hair, deep gray eyes, was tall and had a beautiful body, Arthur was already used to the level of beauty in this world, but the queen was a level above her peers.

'What an interesting boy! The mana of its core is pure and dense, perhaps some learned wanderer taught it?'

She made a mental note to research Arthur, as queen she liked to keep on good terms with the best seedlings of each generation.

Arthur's action did not go unnoticed by the crowd, for most he was just a country bumpkin who had no formal education, and they couldn't be more certain than that, Arthur had no time in his life for formal education, his training was the closest of education he had.

The test passed and some more children had good grades, Arthur was bored with the delay in getting his turn, so he started playing with his faithful friend, the silvery wolf with the white eyes had gone unnoticed.

Children of great families would always have Mana Beast as pets, as long as a family provides materials for a Beast Child.

Unlike Arthur, most preferred to leave their beasts at home in the care of servants.

The gray haired boy playing with a silver wolf cub, but once he caught the eye, Rump with no manners was Arthur's given name since no one knew his name yet.

"ARTHUR, AGE 12, MAPLEWOOD TOWN!"

Arthur, who was distracted with his little friend, straightened up and walked to the crystal that was on the central platform.

The boy and his pet beast was the total focus of the entire arena, even the queen was curious about Arthur's outcome, she knew he would be A-class but was curious about the number of mana channels this mysterious boy had opened in your body.

'Could the crystal be defective?'

The person responsible for the test didn't know if he could trust the result he was seeing, so he told the boy who was in front of the crystal.

"Boy, take your hand away, wait ten seconds and put your hand back on the crystal."

'Did the crystal break?'

That was Arthur's only thought as he followed the instructor's orders and waited for the result.

The result was the same, the instructor considered asking for another crystal to continue the test, but he would have to start all over again, it would be the first time that this would happen, he didn't want to assume that responsibility.

"ARTHUR 12 YEARS OLD, WHITE MANA CORE, 32 MANA CHANNELS, CLASS A!"

For 5 seconds the arena was silent as everyone looked at Arthur coming down from the arena with his little silver wolf.

'This training ring is amazing, I have twice as many channels as most of the kids here!'

Arthur was running his hand over his ring which was now visible to the entire arena.

'At this age, does this child already use the training ring?!'

That was the thought of everyone in the arena, as they began to whisper with the people who were beside him, the nickname of Rudeless Hillbilly could no longer be heard.

The people in the stands thought that Arthur must have someone very strong as a backup, so he seemed unconcerned about the test from the start, and that couldn't be more wrong.

Arthur noticed that the test for class A seemed very easy, and as he didn't have time to learn how to behave like the nobles, he didn't care what was going on around him, after all he was just a 12 year old child.

Kariel and Guth had a smile on their faces, they both had the same thought.

'Class A dispute would be intense…'

'First goal achieved, now I just need to convince my mother to move to the capital, but first I need to find a way to earn some money in the capital, with my salary I can support my mother, but there will be nothing left for me.'

Arthur's plan was simple to donate his academy salary to his mother, and try to get some part-time hunting work to train while earning money.

The rest of the assessment passed smoothly with no surprises, this year twenty-one children passed for Class A, the highest number in the last thirty years. What surprised Arthur a little, it seems that forming a mana core at age 12 is not as simple as it seemed in the beginning.

'Perhaps I should thank my master, the three years of training with him have put me ahead of most children my age. TCH… that old man already stole my mother, he should have taught me that better yes!!!'

Arthur had no objections to his master and mother being together, but he was still just a 12 year old who thought his mother was too good for everyone.
