　　 XANDER'S POV

I was waiting for Daya when her friend came down grinning. I raised my brows, wondering what the grin was for.

"Good evening" she greeted still grinning.

"Ok, what's the grinning for? Did you win a lottery?" I couldn't help but ask.

"I didn't win a lottery but I eon something more than that. She said making me furrow my brows.

"And what did you win dear Mira? I'm curious, your grins look rather mischievous than that of someone who won something.

"I won the heart of the most beautiful girl ever known. You might want to embrace yourself Xander for you might be knocked out" she said smirking.

I was still wondering what she meant by I might want to embrace myself when a clicking sound started resounding from the staircase.

I looked up and froze. My mate was walking down the staircase majestically looking stunning. I have never seen Daya on makeup before and now that I do, I don't think I would let her be on it much to avoid becoming a murderer.
