Chapter 21: Fight Against Time

Greed said through the speakers that set in every corner of the arena, "without any further, let's start the first fight!".

A bell ring, Zen and Thanaphon charged into each other. Thanaphon started to attack Zen first with jabs and kicks, trying to be aggressive and control the game. Zen calmly avoid all the attacks.

As Thanaphon realized Zen avoided all his attacks and he was just wasting his energy, he tried to land a heavier attack by throwing a strong right cross to Zen's face, but Zen's timing was perfect. Zen ducked before the right cross reach his face, and counter it with a finger jab to Thanaphon eyes.

Thanaphon stepped back, as he felt pain and can't see at all. He said, "that is unfair, this is not a street fight! We fight in the…", then stopped his own words when he realized something.

Zen smirked and said, "it looks like you just realized it yourself. My request for no rules is not just a bluff after all".

Thanaphon replied madly, "shut up! If that so, I will fight you with no rules too!", then started to run into Zen again to continue the fight.

Thanaphon threw a lot of random punches aggressively, but like before, Zen avoided them. Thanaphon then used his right leg, tried to kick Zen on the body, but Zen catch the leg and hold it by his armpit and said, "don't you see? Even if you said you want to fight me with no rules, you still move like there is still rules. Why? Because you trained just to fight in the ring. Your targets for attacking are just those that were legal by the rules. But it is different with me, I trained to kill people, make them can't stand and suffer, begging me to let them go. My attacking target are those parts that can make people can't stand, or even pass out. Want to see the example?".

While Zen was holding Thanaphon's right leg, Zen then pushed Thanaphon's right knee without so much afford with his palm. Even it seems like Zen didn't really push it hard, Thanaphon screamed in pain, until he fell down, just after Zen released his leg.

Thanaphon asked Zen, "what did you just did?".

Zen replied with a smirk on his face, "when you push it in the right way, in the right direction, you don't need so much afford to dislocate someone's knee. Now, stand up! Our fight does not end yet, unless you give up now".

Thanaphon thought that was an insult from Zen. He tried his best to stand up as his right knee already dislocated. After a few seconds, Thanaphon stood up, but he needs to drag his right leg to move.

Thanaphon tried to provoke Zen while raising up his guarding block while saying, "come, this is not the end yet. You can't put down a champion with multiple title that easy".

Zen sighed, and replied to Thanaphon, "you still have that ego, eh? I guess you want to see another trick of mine. Also, you seem hard to move, let me go to you".

Zen dashed to Thanaphon suddenly, even Thanaphon was shocked with that. Even Zen dashed to Thanaphon so fast, Thanaphon still can read Zen's movement. Thanaphon said to himself, "heh, he just an amateur, I have so much experience of fighting, I can counter this easily. In his speed toward this way, there is no way he can avoid this".

Thanaphon tried to throw a right hook punch to Zen's face, but suddenly Zen's disappeared from Thanaphon sight. Thanaphon shocked, and said to himself, "where? Where did he go?!".

Suddenly Thanaphon felt pain on his right ribs. When Thanaphon take a look under his hand, he saw Zen, doing lunges, threw a straight karate punch to Thanaphon's right rib.

Thanaphon with a shocking face, said to himself, "what on earth, is he doing?! I never saw that type of movement!".

Zen continued his movement and said to Thanaphon, "don't be surprised yet, the combo is not even finish yet".

Zen then grabbed Thanaphon's right hand, that hanging by doing a hook punch just now, then continued the movement by pushing his forearm to Thanaphon's right elbow until the elbow dislocated. Zen continued by entering into the centreline of Thanaphon's body, then punched the solar plexus, continued by Zen's palm to the Thanaphon's chin.

Thanaphon was knocked down by the combo. Zen turned his back and walked slowly to his corner, while having a self-thought, "he shouldn't get up by now. Punching to the solar plexus will stop him from breathing for a split second, give me time to thrust my palm to his chin that will make his nerve system shocked and can't move for a while".

Zen sat down at his corner and saw the referee raised his hand and make sign shown that Thanaphon can't fight anymore.

Greed shown at the big screen and talked through the loudspeaker, "wow, wow, wow! I never thought our guest can beat one of my champions! But the show does not finish yet! He still needs to fight another two of my fighters! Now, let's give our guest 10 minutes to rest, and wait for my fighter to be ready".

Zen rested at his corner, while having thought in his mind, "I need to reserve my energy for next two fights. 10 minutes interval is not enough to recover my energy and…". His thought was distracted by the guard behind him who was guarding his friends at the spectator seat. He heard the guard talk to someone through his communication device, "what?! There are some wanted people tried to escape?! Roger that! They are still with me, don't worry".

Zen smirked and continue his thought, "it looks like they already started the plan, good. Now I need to do my part here".

Earlier at the old man restaurant, the time when Zen finished the fight, the old man carefully watching the fight from the screen in front of his restaurant. The old man when he saw that Zen was winning the first fight, he immediately took his walkie talkie, and contact some of the wanted people, "Zen has won his first fight, now, begin the operation!". Those people replied, "roger that!"

They separated into four hotels with helipads. After the order, one of them from the hotels show themselves in front of every guard and camera. "Hey! Over here!" They are baiting those guards. When those guards chasing them, there were other guards backing them up.

One of the wanted people said, "just as we thought, they already prepared for backup. Thanks God, Zen genius mind already think of this".

One of the guards using his communication device and said to his friends, "there is a wanted person tried to escape! I'm chasing him right now!". There is a guard from the other hotel replied, "wait, you too?! Here also someone tried to escape! I already send two of us here to chase after him". The third hotel's guard also said the same thing, "not just you two, there is also someone here tried to run into the helipad!". The fourth hotel's guard replied, "what is this kind of rebels?! Here also in the same situation! I'll ask the guards at the casino to higher their security level as there are four cops in there!".

The fourth hotel's guard contacting the guard inside the casino to tighter their security. That is the guard that Zen just heard behind him.

Greed showed again at the screen and said, "alright, 10 minutes have already passed! Now, let me introduce you the next fighter, Big Rock!". A big, bald, tough guy wearing a blacked wrestling singlet walking into the ring.

Once he entered the ring, they face each other in the middle of the ring. The audiences can see that there is different in size between them. Big Rock is about one and half of Zen's size.

Big Rock tried to provoke Zen, "I will crush your head!". Zen replied calmly, "okay, I already got those words a few times in my life".

Greed said to the audiences, "well you see their size difference, right? You still have a chance to bet, bet now!

And now let the second match begin!".
