The Deadliest Hitman Essence.

Jake arrived at the company and entered his office.

The day went as usual with Rebecca giving him reports about the latest results of the company and everything was going well.

Jake finished his work at the same time with Rebecca.

"Becca, are you busy after this?"

"Hmmmm, no, I don't think so."

"Then, come with me and stay the night at my apartment, it has been a while since we spent some time together."

Rebecca smiled sweetly and immediately hugged Jake, who was sitting on the sofa.

"I'm very excited to it!"

"Hahahaha, then, that's good."

Jake and Rebecca got into the car and he drove to the his apartment.

They arrived and entered, and Julia along with Jane and Lucy welcomed them.

They weren't surprised as Jake told them before about Rebecca being his second wife, so they only introduced themselves and started preparing the dinner.

Jake was on the sofa with Viola on his lap, and both of them were relaxing on the TV. Well, not both of them as Jake was thinking about what he received this morning along with the reward he got after banging Lucy.

'it's wierd, it's as if 'he' predicted that and gave me this' he thought as he looked at the reward that can now be displayed on a black screen and white words, only him can see it.

This screen also appeared this morning, on his way to work.

Jake was looking at what was written on it.

He read the description while looking at the small container that contains a crimson red liquid.

'So this is it, the deadliest hitman essence. This reward came at the right time, or it was planned?'

He then looked at the mission he received in the morning.

'I wonder who sent him. I don't think I have any animosity with anyone, or maybe it's not me, but the previous CEO, Anderson, if I remember correctly, he has animosity with many people, some of them are rich and other are super rich, maybe one of them.'

'Hmmmm...I need to gather more information and I know who can provide me with it.'

Jake was thinking while caressing Viola's white like snow fur.

Viola was looking at Jake and smile secretly.

'I love it when he look like that~, or maybe I love everything about him~? Ahhhhhh so sweet~'

Jake was, of course, oblivious to Viola's thoughts as he was thinking about many things.

Viola didn't care about the thing that appeared in Jake's hands and just kept looking at him.

Suddenly he looked down and smiled, then put Viola on the sofa and went to the bathroom.

He locked the door behind and took the small container that contains the crimson red liquid and opened it, then smelled it.

'It doesn't have any smell at all, then what about the taste?'

He put it on his mouth then started drinking it.

Suddenly a huge amount of information flowed in his mind making him grit his teeth as he didn't have the mind palace yet so it was quite hard on his mind to receive this amount of information, it was painful you know.

The experiences, skills, abilities and everything about how a hitman should act and react flooded in his mind.

After some time, the process ended making Jake sigh in relief.

On the outside nothing changed but inside a huge change occured. He can now see the world quite differently, like a hitman.

'My train of thought is now stable and calm, I can notice even the smallest details around me, and I can feel that I can use my hands more efficiently.'

Jake washed his hands and face then wiped the water on his face before going out.

Once out, he looked around and could notice the way the things are put in place. Then he looked at his women and noticed how they behave and act, like how Julia hold the knife and the force she put to cut the vegetables, the way she talk to her sisters and her eyes that were focused on the knife.

The same thing was with the rest, he can read their body language to determine whether they are lying, or if they are angry or upset, happy or sad, depressed or disappointed, their hairstyles that can be used as an indicator to their mood and so on.

'My field of vision was enhanced and became better than before. Interesting.'

He walked to the sofa and sat on it, while Viola sat on his lap again. Jake looked at her and focused on every movement of her making her flinch and feel like she is being watched.

'I have some doubts, but let's leave it for now, I have a problem needs to be solved.'

And like that, he retreated his gaze and watched the TV.

'Right now, I felt like I was being watched or I was already. I can't believe he has a gaze like that...' Viola said inwardly, then she looked at him ' What are you hiding, Jake.'

"Dear, dinner is ready~."

"Okay, I'm coming~."

Then he took Viola and went to the dining table to have dinner.

After dinner, they sat in the sofa watching TV while drinking tea.

Jake looked at Rebecca who was sitting beside him at his right.

"Becca, I'm planning on finding a CEO to manage the company instead of me."

"Why so suddenly?"

"Because there are many things I need to do that I will you later. But now I need you to leave the company and stay here for the time being. You are living alone right?"

"Yeah, but why do you want me to leave the company?"

"There is a reason, but I will tell you once everything is over."

"Okay, I won't ask further, but you need to promise to tell me everything once you finish."

"I promise."

She nodded in satisfaction and rested her head on his shoulder.

The rest of the women didn't interfere as they thought it's something related to their work. Well they are not wrong about that.
