New Job

Boruto took out the Job quest key and was instructed to go to the railway entrance and open the key there to arrive to the job quest area. He did as instructed and was taken to a gate where he was horded with a lot of skeletons.

As he was defeating all the skeletons he was not able to gain any exp which made him dumbfounded. After defeating the first swarm of the skeletons he attempted to use a potion but was unable to do so,

Host is unable to use potion in between the job quest.

He then arrived in front of a large gateway which when he opened, saw that there was a throne and a knight guarding the throne.

Name - Siefgreid

" Wow, this knight is at least rank A"

Boruto rushed towards the knight which was easily able to dodge the attack and hit Boruto back with a great force luckily he was not struck with the sharp part of his sword and the points he had put in defense saved him from being impaired.

He then put back his dagger and the knight did so too.

"Chivalry, huh"

This lowered his strength drastically, Boruto thought of this to be a chance and struck him with his fists and by putting half of his points in strength and the other half in mana. He was able to punch a dent through the knight's armor and then continued his attacks enduring the attacks of the knight. After a continuity of attacks the knight had gotten slower in his attacks and his defense had lowered by a lot. Boruto landed the final blow to the knight's face and collected its drops and had levelled up by a lot.

The job quest will start now. The host's task is to kill the monsters until the time period ends. The amount of points the host has his job will be of a higher rank.

Suddenly there were a number of gates from which many knights appeared. Boruto then took out Siefgreid's longsword which was effective against the knights and was more efficient than fighting with fists.

Even as he was defeating the knights he wasn't gaining any experience and as he was defeating the knights he saw that there were magicians in the horde of the knights.

"Summoners, these magicians are summoning the knights, so if I kill these knights I will be able to defeat all the knights."

One by one he defeated all the magicians by jumping really high due to his strength he then threw his daggers at the magicians to kill them.

Ding new skill { Dagger Throw } earned.

After defeating all the magicians the whole job quest had ended he was able to use his potions again.

Host's job is the one who devours all and gains power from them, Glutton.

Host exceeded the limit of points Glutton is evolving into Beelzebub.

Host has reached level 100 and has exhausted the power of the Goddess of Destruction and now the contract will end now.

"Wait, does this mean that Enyo will no longer be with me?"

"Yes boya, it has been fun talking to you hope you can defeat the Demon King"

"I had fun too, I'll come to meet you once I'm strong enough."

"I'll be waiting for you"

Boruto bid his farewell to his first companion as she transcended back to the realm of the gods.

"What if I devour Siefgreid?"

he then used devour on Siefgreid and it successfully worked and he felt the increase in strength and mana. He also obtained one of its skill { Vital strike}

"Even though my levels will not increase my stats will"

Boruto collected himself and acted as if nothing happened as there were only 2 weeks left now for the Demon King Typhon to wreak havoc in Angbotain and the whole world.

He inspected more about his new job and learned that, if he devours a monster he can get it's skills arbitrarily, he can also absorb the properties of an object and learn all about it's contents.

"This will work on books as well right Enyo?"

He then frowned knowing it was not a dream and went on to the library to get information on the demon king and more information on mana in books.

He bought many books for 5 gold and took all of them to his inn and opened each one of their covers, the first one was History of the Demons and The Demon King.

He used skill {Devour] which he had obtained from the new job.

There was a sudden transmission of information to his brain and he had learned all about the history of the demons and the reason for the brawl between the demons and humans.
