A New Companion

(For the people thinking why Boruto cannot use his powers to the full extent and use the god's power it's because he is currently at a low level and exhausted his power. He will be able to use it as he levels up.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After subjugating the monster, Boruto used the antidote on himself and was returning but saw that a white cub was hiding in a bush, from the Sludge Lizard.

He called out to the cub,

"Hey there little guy, I won't harm you , you can come out"

"Gawh" The cub said in a sweet voice.

Boruto used Appraise on the cub.

Species - Rank??? Unidentified

Strength - ??

Agility - ??

Defense - ??

Boruto was surprised to see this.

Species - Rank?? Unidentified wants to form a contract with Host. Does host accept?

"Do you want to accompany me on my adventures?"

"Gaah"

Boruto then went back to the guild along with his new companion, he submitted the Barefang Wolf's Fang to the receptionist.

"Did you subjugate this monster alone?" The receptionist asked.

"Yeah, What happened?"

"N..No normally adventurer's of Rank C team up to fight Rank C monsters" The dumbfounded receptionist said.

"Oh... That is the reason why it was so tough to beat it" Boruto told trying to cover up.

"Anyways, I have to go Thank you for today" He said collecting his reward.

He then went to a pet store to get food for his new companion, which he named Snow.

On his way to the pet store he was sliding through his notifications from the system.

Host will get another Lucky Roulette When Host defeats an A rank Monster.

While zoned out in his notifications he saw a poster of an all-open tournament for all adventurers, with the rewards of a Dragon Pill [ used to increase Magic and Strength ] to the winner. 'The Tournament will take place in 2 days at Rank D region in the woods at 10 a.m in the morning.'

"This will be a good place to earn exp and also try to get the reward for increasing my strength and magic" He mumbled and went on inside the pet store.

"Excuse me could I get cat food worth 1year along with a bowl "

"It will be 1silver coin"

"Please come again"

"Yes, thank you"

He then went to his inn put food for Snow in his new bowl

"Gaaah"

"You like it? that's nice"

They then went to sleep. The next day Boruto went out to the woods to gain exp again.

He went to the B rank region and went to the swamp area to encounter a Sludge Lizard. He used Divine eyes to detect the Sludge lizard , he noticed that there weas a large number of Sludge Lizards. He was then surrounded by the Lizards in the next moment. Before they could react, he charged towards them and used Mana Aura and defeated the monsters while using Divine eyes which helped him predict their attack, even though it seemed Boruto was formidable he was getting damage as well. He then went behind so as to beak free through the continuous cycle of fighting the unending number of Sludge Lizards.

Boruto was rejuvenated by levelling up, his skills had also levelled up. He charged once again and used Divine eyes which was stronger than before and he was able to accurately predict their attacks. The horde of monsters had decreased extensively and Boruto was also levelling up. Suddenly Snow came out of it's summon realm [ provided to all summons of a summoner.]

It came out and used a skill - Byakko's Roar and all the remaining Lizards had fainted, giving exp to both Boruto and Snow using something called exp share.

Boruto then collected all the drops, used the antidote on himself and as he was heading home,

Host has met the required level to access 'Shop'.

"Huh, what is shop?"

"It is a place where you can buy Potions , swords , and other items which are useful." Enyo replied.

"Are there any other people who can access this system?"

"No, You are the only one, now don't question me further use appraise on Snow to see what type of monster he is"

"Why doesn't it show me it's stats?"

"That is because it is your summon, it shows the rank of your summon and not the power , the power ranking is in the order Soldier, Knight, Elite Knight, General, and Commander, and Snow is at a really high level for a cub." Enyo explained.

" You are a really strong one aren't you" Said Boruto.

"Gaah" Snow said in a cute voice.

He then went back to his inn where he opened Shop. It showed everything from swords to ropes for caves.

He also saw that there was a sell option and thought it would be best to sell all the unwanted drops and buy an armor and a better weapon.
