“Basics first,” Pryderin said, clearing a half a dozen balls of yarn from a low table. He tapped it with one long finger and a diagram popped up. It looked like a hologram, but the quality was like nothing she’d ever seen. It looked like a tree, like Yggdrasil a little bit, but it was all made up of spirals and swirls that looked like smoke. “This is the planar map; you can see how they all flow into each other and into the main trunk.” He reached out and tapped one of the foggy disks, the one closest to the center. “This is the plane you reside on, as you can see, all of the other planes spill into this one as well as the trunk.”

Siana leaned forward, poking a finger into the indicated circle, watching it flash. ”Ok, I can see that, I don’t know what it means but I can see it.”
