Chapter 62 REALIZATION

KATRINA’S P O V

I woke up the next morning and I found myself lying in bed. In my own bed, with Tina sitting down next to me, her face etched with concern as she stared down at me.

I paid her no attention as I stretched my limbs individually, and I flinched when my tender skin and fragile bones screamed back at me, begging me to keep still. I laid back down, and closed my eyes again to sleep.

What the hell happened last night? Why was every part of my body hurting so badly?

‘‘Katrina Sinclair, you have some serious explaining to do…’’ came Tina’s very loud, very vague demand as she pulled away the blanket that was covering my entire body.

‘‘Tina…’’ I groaned, pulling back, my eyes rolled as I sighed, staring at her, annoyed.

‘‘Well…?’’ she stated, her wild, grey irises glaring into mine with a resolute intensity that had me both quivering and confused beyond belief.

‘‘Well, what…?’’ I inquired, still clueless of what she was trying to say to me.
