Final Year

Rei was in her final year at the most prestigious university in Shanghai. She wasn't that happy about it. All she wants is to get a job abroad and leave this place.

"Rei! Come here! I must show you something!" Rei sat beside her friend while her friend showed her a picture of an engagement ring.

"That ring must've costed thousands!" Another student said.

Yup, this school are filled up with rich students.

As Rei stared into space, she only wants to get out of school.

Then, her friend waved at her. "Earth to Rei, can you hear me?" Rei looked at her and said, "What are you doing?" Her friend replied, "You were staring into space. Are you thinking about that guy?"

Rei looked at her and thought, is she crazy? Who wants to marry that jerk?

"Rei, can you come over this evening? We will have a party at our house." Rei's friend asked. While Rei replied, "Nope. You can go and enjoy. I want to stay here a bit until a bit later. See you." As Rei finally said goodbye to her friend, she went downstairs to get some coffee. As Rei looked at her phone it was already 9PM. She thought about it planned to stay in the library for another hour or so.

It was already quite late, she packed up and went out. She looked at her phone while choosing a music playlist. When she walked for a few minute, she thought, "There shouldn't be any people here right now. What is that guy doing over there?"

She didn't mind much and kept on walking. Suddenly, she heard a splash from the swimming pool.

Shivers ran down her spine as she nervously peaked inside the pool. As she quietly unlocked the pool area, she saw a young guy. Facing downard, no breathing.

She quickly called emergency and she dropped everything then went into the water. As soon as she reached the guy, his face and lip looks blue. She quickly gave him mouth to mouth cpr while holding him face up.

"Please don't die. You need to live." When all didn't work, she dragged him up onto dry ground and did a proper cpr until medical personnel arrived.

Thank goodness, he's alive. His face and lip returned to normal.

The paramedics asked Rei to come with them so she went.

As Rei arrived in hospital, the doctors checked that guy and he was okay. Rei was relieved.

She wondered what happened to him. Who is he?

What will Rei do if she finds out the truth?
