Make it exclusive

"What did you say?" As Zoey placed down the phone, she blinked her eyes, expecting that she didn't hear him wrong.

"Let's continue the three dates but I have my conditions." Casting her a side glance, Matthew Xi tightened his jaw. He knew by this time that his decision was rather reckless.

However, he couldn't back down anymore. He had been breaking his words since earlier today. Thus, Matthew Xi would be ashamed of himself if he suddenly changes his words again.

"Hmm?" Surprised that he suddenly changed his mind, Zoey heedlessly stared at him.

"First, during the time we are dating, don't see other people — let's make it exclusive. Second, be honest. And last, stop being stubborn. If you agree on these terms, I'll see you on the 13th." Matthew Xi said in one go and when he was done, he faced Zoey, showing little emotion as usual.

"Ahh..." Blinking her eyes many times, Zoey examined his front for a second. In her mind, his conditions were surprisingly easy to abide. Actually, they were not even considered as something they should talk about because Zoey didn't plan to see other people aside from him.

Also, she had been honest with him, somehow. About the third clause, Zoey could adjust — no problem.

However, Matthew Xi perceived her processing time as something else. To him, he thought that the reason she was taking her precious time to think this through was because of the first condition.

No, perhaps she thought his condition was impossible to follow. Well, whether or not she accepted, Matthew Xi would have a clear conscience.

At the very least, he could say he tried. It was her fault if his conditions were hard for her to follow.

"If you don't agre—"

"Easy, deal." Before Matthew Xi could finish his sentence, the side of Zoey's lips curled into a smile.

"You agree?"

"Hmm! Why wouldn't I?" Zoey profusely nodded her head, determined on the decision she made. "That also means aside from me, you won't see anyone at the moment. It's a win-win situation, so why would I refuse?" In a matter-of-fact tone, Zoey shrugged her shoulders as she felt completely sober upon hearing this delightful news.

Matthew Xi studied her figure before a faint sigh slipped from his lips. "Put on the seatbelt." He said, upon glancing at her unsecured seat.

"Yes, my darling~" Zoey bit her bottom lips as she obediently put the seatbelt on.

When she was done, Matthew Xi drove again. What a long day he had. Matthew Xi never felt so drain doing unproductive stuffs.

"Darling, let's hold hands!" Grinning from ear to ear, Zoey suggested which he answered with silence.

"You want to sleepover?"

"Hah? Are you on drugs?" Upon hearing her sudden question, Enzo Li retracted his phone away and stared at it in disdain before he placed it back.

"Zoey Zhou, I'm being serious. Why would you threaten that mama's boy Richard Sun? Surprised that the news reached me, huh? Jeez...!" Enzo Li nagged, upset that Zoey went crazy again and offended someone like Richard Sun.

Enzo Li had always known that Richard Sun had been eyeing Zoey. However, she never detailed what's her relationship with that guy and what happened between them.

Still, being associated with many elites, Enzo Li had heard the news. Therefore, he called Zoey to give her a heads up about it. Yet, she was spewing nonsense.

"Sure, let's date." From the other end of the line, Enzo Li heard a male voice. For some reason, it sounded oddly familiar.

"Hey, are you with someone?" Knitting his brows, Enzo Li assumed that her question about the sleepover was not meant for him but to the person with her.

Thus, red alarms rang inside Enzo Li's head. Sleepover? The man with him? Enzo Li recalled that Zoey has someone she called Darling... they went that far?!?

"Hey, I'll call you later." Those were Zoey's last words before Enzo Li heard the beeping sound, indicating the call ended.

"What — what was that?" Blinking his eyes many times, it rendered Enzo Li speechless as his imagination run wild.

"Aya, that Zoey Zhou! Did she — that indecent woman! Just you wait!" Enzo Li ground his teeth as he hurriedly departed the club he was in.
