Never give up!!!

The sun was hidden behind the clouds like shy newly wed bride,the breeze was getting stronger, it was a sign of the upcoming rain.

A youth 14-15 years old was in meditative posture sitting upon a sturdy stone the size of a camel. It was Jian Feng who was cultivating diligently.

There was a small black shadow size of an adults fist , the black shadow strangely enough resembled Jian Feng to a certain degree, it had small hands, it didn't have legs its lower half resembled a jini.

It was floating in front of Jian Feng,it's eyes where close, it was absorbing the energy in air around itself and slowly transferring it to the boy.

This carried on for almost an hour, it was now the crucial moment for breakthrough, Jian Feng who's face was completely covered in beads of sweat, was gritting his teeth, his eyebrows were raised to a frown, he was completely focused.

After 10 more minutes, the shadow slowly went back inside Jian Feng, as he slowly opened his eyes, the wind blew as Jian Feng's hair fluttered in the air.

It was clear from one look in his eyes that were filled with disappointment to know that he failed.The life of a cultivator is filled with failure. Cultivation is difficult!! Truly difficult!!!

Jian Feng sat there still like a rock in deep thought.After having failed for the 3rd time continuously he was feeling low.

Time slowly passed as it started to rain. As heavens wept seeming to express the sadness Jian Feng was feeling.

As rain fell on him Jian Feng slowly stood up straight like sword pointing towards the heavens, he raised his head, his fists were tightly clenched, his eyes filled determination he shouted "I refuse to give up, I refuse to be ordinary. I will not give up, I will never give up as long as I am alive!"

As he finished venting out his emotions, his mood gradually became a bit better. He then started walking towards his room.

In spirit soul world the only thing that mattered was strength.If person had enough strength he could committe any sin and still move unhindered in the world.The spirit soul world had an unspoken rule ' if you have strength you will be respected, if your weak you will be looked down upon'.

So how does one get this strength that we speak of, it's simple really,by cultivating of course.

Every person in this world has soul, at the age of 13 most people will undergo spirit awakening naturally. The spirit that one awakens will determine his cultivation journey.

The spirit is a vital part of cultivating process.without a spirit one cannot cultivate. In this world there extremely few cases where people are unable to awaken a spirit.

Which Spirit can be awakened depends on luck or bloodline and strength of the soul during the awakening period. Spirits are of various types, they can be weapons such as sword, knives, spear, chains or they can be spirit beasts or elements of nature such as fire, water and so on.The different types of spirits are countless in this world.

Spirits are graded into five 5 levels, there are Low grade, mid grade, high grade, superior grade, peak grade. The higher the grade of a spirit,better the future Prospect of the cultivator.

Each spirit has its own superiority in certain aspects, but the basic and vital ability of the spirit is to be able absorb large amounts of qi in the surrounding.

The spirit is bound to the soul, so when the cultivator dies the spirit dies as well. But during battle if the spirit is destroyed the cultivator will suffer life threatening injuries but will not die immediately.
