A writer. A hopeless romantic. A loner. This words describes Han Xuexin the most. She had been alone most of her life as her mother died at the age of fourteen. It was at that age that she started to write her first novel, didn't expecting that writing will change her life. Years went by and the pen name 'Celestial Snow' finally became an establish author with seven books, generating enough income for her to live comortably and peacefully. However, something unexpected happened. 'Why are the villains of her novels suddenly in her living room?!' Han Xuexin's peaceful yet boring life started to turn around with those men around. One was an assassin who had no hesitation betraying his co-assassin. The secon one was a Doctor who could save someone but kill as well with those very same hands. The third one was a prince who had become a general and had won a lot of war. The fourth one was a mercenery group leader who likes to torture those who gets in his way. The fifth one was a business man who was the richest in their continent. The sixth one was a red haired haughty prince who thinks everything revolves around him. The seventh one was a royal advisor who was the most normal out of them all if it wasn't his silver hair. No one among these seven people are normal. One wrong move and Han Xuexin might be meeting her ancestor the next second. How was she supposed to live with them?!
"Then how did you all get here?" Han Xuexin asked, and the other men looked at the guy sitting next to her.
Yijun Li.
The leader of the mercenary group, Black Arrows.
Black Arrows was the highest-paying mercenary group in the Qinzihua Continent as they were the professional backbone in international warfare.
And Yijun as the leader of the most feared mercenary group was someone Han Xuexin feared the most. She had written him as a person who is bloodthirsty and vicious.
While Anlei can kill you in the blink of an eye, and give you a quick death, Yijun Li, on the other hand, is the opposite. He likes to torture those who stand in his way, having them lay in their pool of blood as they wait for their death, as it is better to die than to suffer.
It's in his nature to kill.
Yijun Li grew up being taught numerous ways of how to kill a man.
He was destined to be used as a killing machine for political grounds by the royal family of the Lohrk Kingdom. However, the King was overthrown in a military revolt, and Yijun Li was saved by a girl.
That girl was the female lead of the novel 'Defenseless.'
After that, Yijun Li decided to enlist in the military and use his abilities for the betterment of their land.
But in what way did he become a villain?
Yijun Li, who had fallen in love with the girl who had saved him and had been looking for her ever since, discovered that she had been politically engaged to a prince in the neighboring Kingdom. However, the two still got to meet each other and became closer. Just as Yijun Li started to get his hopes up, he had to leave to besiege a city as a soldier in the military. But when he returned, he discovered that the woman he had fallen in love with had already married the prince, and realizing that he was simply an option for her, he left.
Yijun Li was more of cannon fodder to make things interesting rather than a villain in the novel, as there was none on the book.
Han Xuexin stared at him up and down, and she couldn't help but shiver.
Even without him doing anything, his mere presence was enough to cause someone to fall to their knees and beg for their life.
She suddenly picked up a smell and couldn't help but crinkle her nose, "You reek of alcohol," she complained as she slid herself far from him only to bump into someone's chest.
"Maintain a distance from me, Miss Snow," said the man behind her.
'I can't even move on my own couch!' Han Xuexin complained in her mind as she apologized to the man, "Sorry, sorry."
He was Ming Xuan.
The Royal Advisor of the King in Mianzuo Kingdom.
Ming Xuan was undoubtedly intelligent.
His ideas were the primary driver of the Mianzuo Kingdom's economic growth.
His story was different from the others, as he wasn't really a villain that kept the female lead and male lead apart from each other; rather, he was simply another character that fell in love with the female lead, The Empress.
The engagement between the male and female lead had been set forth since they were children. Ming Xuan held onto his love for her because he wanted to be nearer to her. He simply wanted to love and accompany her silently, and so he did. Due to his position as an advisor, he had the opportunity to watch and be close to her. However, when the Emperor learned of his unrequited love, he was removed from his position, which was a light punishment given that he had served the kingdom.
And that's how his part of the story concluded.
Han Xuexin didn't know how he was doing now, as it was an open ending for him.
"I've already explained that I didn't know how this happened. I was just drinking with some old man, and he said some nonsense out of the blue, and then all of this happened," Yijun Li explained.
"Let's restrain ourselves from using vulgar words as we have a lady with us," Ming Xuan suggested, which earned him a scoff from Li Jisheng.
"The lady you're referring to is the one who wrote us this way. Every swear word that has gone out of our mouths; she is the one who thought to make those things happen. So what made you believe that she'd be terrified of someone cussing?"
When Han Xuexin heard Ming Xuan say, "It's not that she'll be terrified, it's only a matter of respect to a Lady," she unconsciously clapped her hands in agreement with him.
'Ming Xuan will now be my favorite character, starting today!'
Han Xuexin thought so as she stared at him with admiration in her eyes.
Li Jisheng scoffed as he made a sarcastic remark, "It appears like you're enjoying what's happening like it's some kind of show," and Han Xuexin quickly put her hands down.
She backed up against the sofa, trying to hide herself from their scorching gaze, and whispered in a quiet voice, "Sorry, please continue—don't mind me, don't mind me."
