Why A Dimensional Chat Group?

In contemporary Japan, Yuu Tachibana lives a seemingly ordinary life with his beloved family. However, Yuu harbors a secret: he has lived a past life in another world, making his current life his second. Having no one to call family in his previous life, Yuu cherishes his family all the more. One fateful night, Yuu discovers an unidentified phone in his room. The message displayed on its screen is cryptic and foreboding: [Do you want to save your family from their terrible fate?] With a sense of dread, Yuu is faced with a choice: [Yes] or [No]. Yuu must decide if he is willing to risk everything to protect his loved ones. Will he choose to save them, or let fate run its course? -------- So, before you jump into the fic, let me address the frustration of some readers, This fic is slow. The Dimensional Chat Group, is not given to the MC in the first or fifth chapter. No, no! Not even in 8 chapter, It decides to make a fashionable entrance in chapter 11. And we don't even get to fully explore it until chapter 15. Isn't that just great? The delay in the chat group's appearance seems to be a point of confusion for many readers. While the chat group is indeed a central aspect of the story, it's important to understand why the MC would use this unknown and potentially dangerous power. If the MC is reckless or unintelligent, the chat group's usage might begin in the first chapter. However, if the MC is depicted as a self-proclaimed genius or cautious individual, the story will reach the point of the chat group's involvement by chapter 3 at the latest, followed by a mission. In the initial 8 to 9 chapters, we get a glimpse into the MC's ordinary existence. He leads a regular life, surrounded by his loving family. He attends school, where he has a small circle of friends. Financially speaking, his family doesn't face any difficulties or hardships. And he is content with this simple, everyday life. Now, you might be wondering, why on earth would a person like our MC take a risk with the Chat Group? Hear me out. He's not some thrill-seeker, or a martial arts enthusiast looking for stronger opponents, nor is he a genius bored out of his mind. He's content with his life, and he doesn't crave anything more. So, why would he put his neck on the line? That's precisely why it takes so long for the Chat Group to enter the picture. The initial chapters focus on showcasing his everyday life with family and friends. It's all about giving you a glimpse into why he wouldn't initially desire the chat group. But, of course, he eventually takes the plunge because he discovers a reason that speaks to him. Now, I know some of you may say, "Hey, couldn't you have summed it up in a single chapter?" Well, sure, I could have, but I didn't want to. Summarizing the MC's relationships and motivations would have resulted in a shallow excuse that you—yes, you—would probably complain about later. Plus, there's more to this story than just his daily life. But enough about that. Let's get one thing straight: this fic is slow. If you're expecting a quick summary with occasional fights and snappy dialogue, do yourself and me a favor by clicking off this fic. You'll find what you're looking for in less than 10 seconds, guaranteed. So, if you're still here after this warning, I don't want to hear any complaints about the story's pace. You've been duly informed. And hey, as you read, try paying a little more attention to uncover the hidden meanings within the dialogues and monologues. Also, I am not saying that I have done a fantastic job on the writing, No that’s not the point of this. The point is that you the reader don’t waste your time reading something you don’t like. And I don’t get 1-star reviews for a reason as petty as ‘The Chat group took too long to appear’ That's all for now. The Twins

Leaving that aside Yuu looked at the second side objective.

'Getting the Scarlet crimson sand, I guess this can work,' Yuu placed his phone back into the bag and took out a page to start writing a letter.

But it wasn't until four weeks later that Yuu handed the complete letter to Kanae after dinner.

"Kocho-san can you send this letter to Oyakata-sama?" Yuu asked and Kanae nodded.

"Sure," Yuu knew that he didn't need to worry about her reading the letter since she wasn't the type to do such a thing.

'And it isn't like I have written something in it that needs to be hidden,' Yuu went to bed knowing that he will get the reply by morning, and as he thought it really came.

We weren't able to convince the young kids there to come with us. Maybe we were lacking in sincerity as they have rejected my Wife every time she traveled there.

It stems from the fact that they have recently lost their parents.

I hope they can understand that we only mean well.

So, if you want to try and convince them I have no problems with it.

You have my eternal gratitude for your service and I will send the thing you asked for regardless of whether you succeed or not.

-Ubuyashiki Kagaya

------------------

"Did something happen Tachibana-sama?" Kanae asked as she didn't know what was written the letters that Kagaya and Yuu exchanged but…

'I pray it isn't something that'll cause more problems,' Kanae shook her head trying to think positively and…

"Kocho-san do you remember the family I mentioned before that lives in Kagenobu mountain?" Kanae nodded after hearing Yuu.

"It is the family that Oyakata-sama was looking for, right?" Kanae did remember it, but she was unsure as to why that was connected to the letter.

"We need to convince the young boys who are the only surviving members of that family into coming here," Yuu said and Kanae started to think.

'A family that Oyakata-sama was looking for? And he wants us to move them here in a safe place, is it that?' Kanae's eyes widened and she looked at Yuu who nodded.

"We can't let the demons reach them as they belong to a lineage of a strong swordsman from the past," Yuu said and Kanae could understand the urgency.

"It would be bad if the demons find them before us. So, we should leave quickly," Kanae said and Yuu nodded.

"Stop right there," But Shinobu who had walked into the dining room for breakfast didn't look in agreement.

"Even if you have recovered, you can't go out without any rehabilitation, your arm was just healed a week ago, What will you do if you happen to run into a strong Demon in an unfit state?" Shinobu looked at Yuu with a frown, she was totally against this.

"But we aren't going there to fight demons Shinobu-chan and I am going along as well," Kanae said and Yuu nodded.

"We'll reach there by afternoon if we take the train while running the rest of the way, then we'll be back with the kids before night falls, so there would be no contact with demons," Yuu said while pointing at the clock, it was only still 6:30 in the morning.

'And I have recovered more than enough, that is why I am going,' Yuu wasn't taking any risks here, he even got a new katana from Tetsuido while his arm was healing.

"What if the train already left?" Shinobu asked while crossing her arms.

"It will leave in an hour," Yuu had already confirmed the train schedule before writing the letter.

"...How are you so sure that you'll be able to convince the two kids? Even Oyakata-sama failed a few times," Shinobu said after pausing a little.

"I just need to convince one of the twins, it won't take much time," Yuu said flatly and Shinobu's eyebrows twitched.

'He isn't going to listen,' Shinobu was sure since she could see it from Yuu's actions.

"Just do what you want, I won't tend to your wounds if you get injured," Shinobu said and walked away.

"Looks like Shinobu-chan is angry," Kanae could understand that since Shinobu stayed silent when she was pissed, the total opposite of her boisterous personality.

'Well, her anger isn't unfounded as a doctor, but I need to finish this mission quickly and return home,' Yuu thought before he and Kanae prepared to leave quickly.

And just like Yuu had said they were able to reach Minamitama county by afternoon, all that was left now was to convince them normally, at least that was what Kanae thought...

"Why are you here? And Who are you? Did that white-haired demoness send you here? Get Lost!!!" A thin kid that was about 10 years old with long hair was shouting at them and looked ready to hurl the small rocks at them but…

"N-Nii-san you shouldn't do that," The twin brother of the kid was stopping him, or at least he was trying to as he himself was shaking like a leaf.

"We are just here to tel-" Kanae tried to smile and talk gently in order to ease the kid but…

"No one wants to listen to you!! Get lost before I dump poop on your head!" The kid cut her off.

'He isn't listening…' Kanae was stumped since the kid wasn't even letting her speak.

'I need to convince just him,' Yuu was looking at the kid that was glaring at them in anger.

The twin brother of the future Mist pillar Tikito Muichiro, Tikito Yuichiro

"Kocho-san," Kanae looked at Yuu as he called her out and she kind of understood what will happen as she nodded.

"I understand," Yuu walked over to the twins who flinched seeing him come over with his blank face.

"Y-You don't come near," Yuichiro who was shouting till now stepped back as he felt scared but he was able to throw the rocks in his hand.

"S-Stop!" Even then, none of them hit Yuu who wasn't even trying to dodge since Yuichiro missed them on his own.

"N-Nii-san," Muichiro trembled even more as Yuu was now standing right in front of them and he spoke in his usual tone.

"You are coming with me kid, we need to talk," Yuu looked at Yuichiro who was still glaring at him.

Yuu did not say anything more and turned around walking away.

"Nii-san!" Muichiro shouted as he saw his brother walk after Yuu, he was scared that something might happen.

He was about to follow his brother.

"Don't move from there!" But Yuichiro shouted turning back like he knew that Muichiro would try to follow him.

"Ugh," The shout rooted Muichiro on the spot as some tears spilled his eyes while he saw Yuichiro walk in the forest following Yuu.

"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen to your brother," Kanae spoke softly looking at Muichiro who still trembled.

"B-But, Nii-san was rude… I-If he punishes him," Muichiro was barely able to form his words as he looked like he'll start bawling any second.

'Nii-san was rude to the lady here, and even the lady last time while she was just being kind to us, he even threw rocks at him,' The more Muichiro thought the more tears started to spill from his eyes but he felt a warm hand on his head which made him turn his head.

"Tachibana-sama won't hurt your brother," Kanae said gently patting Muichiro's head.

'T-That's...' Muichiro felt like he was sent back in time by seeing Kanae's gentle smile in front of him as she patted his head.

'Mu-chan, don't cry you are a strong boy,' The gentle words of his now-deceased mother rang in his ears as her image overlapped with Kanae at this moment.

"R-Really," Muichiro asked and Kanae nodded.

"Tachibana-sama is really kind, so don't worry," Kanae said with a smile and Muichiro wiped the tears off his face.

'I feel like I can trust her,' Muichiro didn't know why, but he chose to trust Kanae at that moment.

Inside the Forest,

'How far will he go from the house?' Yuichiro thought as he followed Yuu, in his mind he was still thinking of Muichiro who was alone with Kanae.

But…

'That woman won't do anything, she looks harmless,' Looking at Kanae, Yuichiro felt like he was looking at his father. She had the same kind smile that he had, so there was no need to worry about Muichiro being harmed.

'But he is the problem,' Yuichiro thought while looking at Yuu's back, But...

'I know this forest inside out, and no one can outrun me here, not even Muichiro,' Yuichiro was looking for his time to escape.

And soon he found it when Yuu was halfway down a steep slope and Yuichiro hadn't even stepped on the slope.

'Now!' He quickly turned in the direction of the nearby village and ran with all of his strength.
