An Outing 2

Elizabeth held down the white floral dress that was blown up by the wind, while holding the hat with her other hand. Noel had yet to return and she was the only person on the beach. Taking slow steps beside the crashing waves, she walked barefooted with her toes in the sand. She walked for a long while and when she turned back, the resort was far away.

She sat on the sand with a sigh, a satisfied smile lingered on her lips, however it disappeared as soon as she heard a peculiar neigh.

Elizabeth turned around in one swift motion, her body stiffened as soon as she set eyes on the horse. Horses had become a bad memory for her and now, there was another one right in front of her. However, this horse was pure white with a few strands of red on its beautiful hair, compared to the elegant black horse she saw the other time, this one exuded purity and some kind of peaceful hue, it was indeed pretty. Elizabeth, who had unknowingly walked towards the horse, caressed its face.
