Ch 1 : Love Birds

Kabir was talking to his family and planning his birthday. Suddenly a handsome boy, tall, a bit skinny, of indian skin tone and with chiseled face named sushant came there.he was the same age of kabir, 16 years old.

"It's your birthday tomorrow",he said.

"I know ",Kabir replied.

"So , can we spend time tomorrow?"

"Yeah , I will be with you for the whole day with you ". then they both ran upstairs and started kissing each other.

"I love you!" sushant said.

"I love you too",kabir said. Suddenly Kabir's sister, Meera, came there, and they both stopped what they were doing and acted like nothing had happened.

"Mom is calling you both to have lunch",she said and went from there.

They both kissed each other again and then went downstairs.

Kabir and sushant have been secretly a gay couple for 2 years. Kabir's family still don't know about his sexuality. Kabir's mother was Indian and his step father was American so they lived in america. His father died when he was young so he did not have many memories with him but his step father Daniel always supported him. Kabir's small family, both parents working. Sushant and he were in the same school. They both told about their relationship to sushant's sister and thier school friends.

Kabir and sushant went down to have lunch. While they were having lunch Kabir moved his legs over sushant's . sushant in signs told him not to do so. Then after lunch Sushant and Kabir went for a walk . Kabir was blushing.

"What happened?"sushant asked.

"Nothing?"Kabir said.

"Kabir! I can see your hot face turning red and your sweet smile, you are blushing, what happened?"

"Nothing, I'm just excited for tomorrow, it's a very special day".

"Yeah it's your birthday and…"sushant said and grabbed kabir, "our 2 years anniversary".

"You know it?"

"Of course the day is very special for me too, on that day i got the best gift from god, you, my love".

"And I also got the best gift on my birthday , it was you and I want you to be with me forever".

"I will always be there with you, i will never go away from you even if i want to because my heart won't let me hate you".

"I will soon tell my parents about my sexuality".

"Really when?"

"Tomorrow , maybe"

"Wow that would be nice, I won't have to pretend to be your bro anymore and we can walk and do boyfriend stuff too".

"Yeah we will babe".

"Oh my god i'm so excited now".

"Do you remember how you proposed to me?".

Two years back:

It was Kabir's birthday and he was a bit anxious that day. Everyone was celebrating and sushant came there. Kabir didn't want to talk to him , he was a bit embarrassed and sushant was trying to get an opportunity to talk to him. Then after the cake cutting sushant's sister shree took kabir out side to her house with blind folding him. When they reached there, Shree left him there and went. When he opened his blindfold, he saw the backyard was decorated beautifully. Then he was welcomed with a shower of roses. As he walked forward he saw sushant in a white shirt . He sang a romantic Hindi song along with the music played by the speaker. Then after the music was over he said, "I love you very much, i didn't know what you do when I tell you ?i was scared that you would break friendship with me three days ago when you kissed me i took it as a sign of love and today i confess my love for you", saying that sushant gave him a rose.

"I want you , only you nothing else, that 6 months with you made me fall for you, and anybody can fall for a nice guy like you",sushant continued and kabir was overwhelmed and emotional, "we will date each other and then decide if we want to stay together or not…" kabir kissed him.

"I want to , i want to be yours , i love you"kabir said, "i really want to i feel the same as you feel sushant".

"I love you too",sushant said and they both hugged each other.

Present day:

"Yeah I remember", sushant said.

"Ok now you should go and study. I will also and after all we will spend all the day tomorrow together",kabir said and hugged sushant. Sushant kissed him on the forehead and then went from there.

Kabir was walking back home when he heard footsteps running towards his way, when he turned back he saw sushant.

"What happened?"Kabir asked.

Sushant hugged him tight and then said, "can we spend more time together please?"

Kabir agreed and they both stood there hugging each other . Then kabir called his mother and said that he will come in the evening.

They both walked to a cliff from where they could see the sun rise.

They both sat together and Kabir kept his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.

"I wish that we stay together forever",kabir said.

"Yeah i don't wanna lose you"sushant said and kept his hand on kabir's hand.

"If I lose you I will die".

"Kabir don't say like this".

"I'm honest Sushu".

"Hey don't call me after we start staying together".

"Why not? I will tell you that I like it".

"Ok my love but not always".

"Btw what happened that you came back".

"I don't know I don't feel like going away from you".

"Why"

"I felt a bit scared?"

"Scared?Why babe ?I'm always there with you".

"I know but I don't know I think my heart said so".

Then they heard the bell of an ice cream stall. They both went to the stall and both took choco vanilla ice cream.

"Our favorite",they both said.

They both ate their ice cream sharing with each other and then it was dusk now. They both clicked photos of each other and then were ready to go.

"Now i don't feel like leaving you",kabir said and held sushant's hand.

"Hmm, I love you".

"I love you too". They both kissed each other and went from there.
